Glanusk Park
Glanusk Park is an estate in Wales, United Kingdom. It is situated near Crickhowell, Powys. It was established in 1826 by a 'retired' ironmaster, Sir Joseph Bailey. The park features in the hereditary title Baron Glanusk which was given to Sir Joseph's grandson, Sir Joseph Russell Bailey in 1899. At that time Baron Glanusk was the Lord Lieutenant of Brecknockshire. Glanusk Park and Estate is privately owned by the Legge-Bourke family.

Tretower Court is a medieval fortified manor house situated in the village of Tretower, near Crickhowell in modern day Powys, previously within the historical county of Breconshire or Brecknockshire.
Cwmdu, Powys
Cwmdu is a small village situated in the heart of the Black Mountains in Powys, Wales. Its name is derived from the Welsh language "Cwm Du", which means 'Black Valley'. It is located on the A479 Talgarth to Tretower road.
Pen Allt-mawr
Pen Allt-mawr is subsidiary summit of Waun Fach and the third highest peak in the Black Mountains in south-eastern Wales. It lies near the end of the westernmost of Waun Fach's south ridges. It is a very recognisable and prominent peak of the Black Mountains. It summit is stony and has a large shelter cairn. Its top Pen Twyn Glas is to the north, while its close neighbour Pen Cerrig-calch is to the south.

The Rhiangoll is a river in the Brecon Beacons National Park in southern Powys, south Wales. It rises on the western slopes of Waun Fach in the Black Mountains and drops steeply down to the west into the north-south valley through which the A479 runs between Talgarth and the hamlet of Tretower and through the village of Cwmdu.
Tretower
Tretower is a hamlet in the community of Llanfihangel Cwmdu with Bwlch and Cathedine in the southern part of the county of Powys in Wales. It lies on the A479 road within the Brecon Beacons National Park at the foot of the Black Mountains just off the Usk Valley. Tretower is frequented by tourists visiting the impressive Tretower Court and the nearby ruins of Tretower Castle, both of which are now managed by Cadw.
Myarth
Myarth is a hill in the Usk Valley in the county of Powys in South Wales, about 2 miles east of Crickhowell. Its summit at 292 metres is covered by trees, whilst the larger part of its slopes are also wooded. It is listed as a Marilyn. Myarth has an elongate form commonly ascribed to erosion by the west-to-east movement of the Usk Valley glacier during successive ice ages. The River Usk runs along the foot of the hill on its southern side.
