Llandrinio
Llandrinio is a small village in Powys, mid Wales, close to the Wales-England border. Llandrinio is home to about 1,000 people spread over a reasonably large area. The village first had a large population growth by the addition of a council estate many years ago. Soon afterwards a local building contractor bought up some land and constructed a small street of pleasant detached properties, which was extended to add another 12 larger houses to the rear of the street.

Criggion Radio Station
Criggion Radio Station was a transmitter site latterly operated by BT on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence. It was located near the village of Criggion in the parish of Bausley with Criggion, which lies in the county of Powys, Wales. It was established in World War II as a back-up unit for Rugby Radio Station and took over the latter's traffic for a short period in 1943 following a fire at Rugby.
Wollaston, Shropshire
Wollaston is a small village in Shropshire, England, only a quarter of a mile from the Welsh border. It also was a civil parish, until 2005 when it was abolished and absorbed into the two neighbouring parishes: Alberbury with Cardeston and Westbury. It is believed that Old Tom Parr was born in, or near, to the village. There is a beacon here, by the church, that is to be lit in case of an invasion from Wales.
Breidden Hill
Breidden Hill is an extinct volcanic hill, located west of the border between Shropshire, England and Powys, Wales, near the town of Welshpool. It is immediately surrounded by the villages of Trewern, Criggion, Crew Green and Llandrinio. The peak of the hill reaches to 1199 ft. Footpaths which lead up to the summit provide excellent 360 degree views over the Shropshire Plain and Mid-Wales.
