Sgwd Henrhyd
Sgwd Henrhyd (Henrhyd Waterfall or Henrhyd Falls) in Powys, Wales, is the tallest waterfall in South Wales with a drop of 90 feet . It lies on National Trust land on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The falls occur where the small river, the Nant Llech drops over the faulted edge of a hard sandstone known as the Farewell Rock. The nearest settlement to it is Coelbren, on the road between Glynneath and Abercraf.

Ynyswen is a village in the community of Treorchy, in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. Ynyswen consists mostly of housing. It has an industrial estate which was once the site of Burberry's factory, one shop, and the Forest View Medical Centre. The area has several chapels and churches as well as Ynyswen Infant school and Ynyswen Welsh School. Ynyswen infant's school takes children until the age of 7.
Dyffryn Cellwen
Dyffryn Cellwen is a village in the County Borough of Neath Port Talbot, South Wales. It is situated in the upper Dulais Valley near the junction of the A4109 and A4221 roads, northwest of the smaller settlement of Banwen. It is part of the community of Onllwyn. The village stands close to the course of the Roman road from Neath to Brecon, and there are traces of a Roman fort and camp nearby. At one time, mining for iron, copper, and especially coal were important activities in the area.

Coed Hills Rural Artspace is situated close to the village of St Hilary in the Vale of Glamorgan, approximately 8 miles west of Cardiff. Set in 180 acres of woodland and pasture, the the Artspace was established in 1997 and is designed following principles of low impact development, aiming to combine creativity with sustainability. We have an 8 acre market garden and a 2 acre forest garden on site, and host conferences, courses and events.

Aberpergwm is the site of a colliery in the Vale of Neath near Glynneath in south Wales. The drift mine was reopened in 1996 after being closed by British Coal in 1985. It is owned and worked by Energybuild, a private company now wholly owned by Walter Energy of the USA (as of April 2011). A4221 road
The A4221 is an A road which links Banwen with Abercraf in Wales. The roads begins just south of Abercraf at the junction with the A4067. It then heads eastwards through Caehopkin and then bypasses Coelbren. It joins the A4109 just west of Banwen.
Coelbren, Powys
Coelbren is a small rural village just south of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Powys, Wales. It lies some six miles north-east of Ystradgynlais, close to Sgwd Henrhyd, a high waterfall on the Nant Llech. To the east of the village flows the Afon Pyrddin which plunges over two more spectacular falls.
Abercraf transmitting station
The Abercraf television relay station is sited on high ground to the east of the village of Abercraf in the upper Swansea Valley, though it is actually closer to Coelbren than to Abercraf itself. It was originally built in the 1980s as a fill-in relay for UHF analogue colour television covering the communities of Abercraf, Coelbren, Penycae and Ynyswen. It consists of a 45 m self-supporting lattice mast standing on a hillside which is itself about 270 m above sea level.
