Port Talbot Steelworks
Port Talbot Steelworks is an integrated steel production plant in Port Talbot, Wales capable of producing nearly 5 million tonnes of steel slab per annum. The majority of the slab is rolled on-site at Port Talbot and at the Newport Llanwern site to make a variety of steel strip products. The remainder is processed at other Tata Steel plants or sold in slab form.
Glenhafod Park Stadium
Glenhafod Park Stadium is a football stadium situated in a small valley just outside the village of Goytre, which is a district of Port Talbot, Wales, UK. It is the home ground of Goytre United F.C.. The name Glenhafod, is taken from the local disused coal mines in the surrounding hillside and shares the valley with the Goytre United F.C. social club and a horseback riding school. In 1990 there was a 350 seater grandstand built, with floodlights being installed in 2000.

Eglwys Nunydd
The Eglwys Nunydd is a 260 acre supply reservoir in Margam, Wales originally constructed to provide water for the large steelworks at Margam and specifically for cooling water for the cold rolling mills at the eastern end of the works. Much of the water for the hot end of the plant is abstracted from the Rivers Afan and the Ffrwdwyllyt as they flow through the dock feeder. The lake supports a trout and coarse fishing. It is used for dinghy sailing.

Margam Moors
Margam Moors is a community of Neath Port Talbot county borough, Wales. Together with the community of Margam, it forms the Margam electoral ward. There were three inhabitants in Margam Moors at the 2001 census, and most of the area is open moorland with the central and northern areas occupied by Port Talbot Steelworks and Port Talbot Docks. The south west of the community is Margam Sands beach.
Steel Company of Wales Ground
Steel Company of Wales Ground is a cricket ground in Margam, Glamorgan. The ground was initially built and owned by the Steel Company of Wales for the workers at the nearby Port Talbot Steelworks. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1949, when Margam played Glamorgan Club and Ground. In 1953, Glamorgan played their first first-class match there against Ireland.
Mynydd Emroch television relay station
The Mynydd Emroch television relay station is sited on the eponymous hill to the east of Port Talbot, clearly visible to eastbound traffic on the M4 motorway between junction 41 and junction 40, and to westbound traffic from about 600 m before junction 40. It was originally built in the 1970s as a fill-in relay for UHF analogue television. It consists of a 25 m self-supporting lattice mast standing on a hillside which is itself about 180 m above sea level (about 150 m above the town).
