Caldicot Castle
Caldicot Castle is an extensive stone medieval castle in the town of Caldicot, Monmouthshire, in southeast Wales. The castle is a Grade I listed building as at 10 June 1953. It was at in the possession of Thomas of Woodstock, a son of King Edward III of England, until his death, when it reverted to the Crown.

Caldicot School is a coeducational and non-selective secondary school in the town of Caldicot, Monmouthshire in South Wales. Mrs. Gwyer-Roberts is headmistress and has been so since 2003. The school motto is 'Committed to Achievement' as seen at the bottom of the school crest. The crest is 'CCS' (an abbreviation of Caldicot Comprehensive School), made to look like a swan.

The Royal Navy Propellant Factory, Caerwent, Monmouthshire, UK, (later RAF Caerwent) was dedicated to the manufacture of explosives or the storage of ammunition from 1939 to 1993. Dewstow House
Dewstow House, Caldicot, Monmouthshire, Wales, is a Grade II listed building notable for its "network of very rare and unusual underground gardens" constructed in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The house is a "simple three-bay villa" with extensive views over the Severn Estuary. Within the grounds lie one of the most extraordinary gardens in Britain, "a network of underground passages and top-light chambers with artificial rock-work and stalactities.

Rogiet Primary School is located in the village of Rogiet, Monmouthshire, Wales. It caters for pupils aged 4 to 11 years of age. The current catchment area is Rogiet, Highmoor Hill, Five Lanes and Caerwent. Owing to the unusual demographics of Rogiet, with an unusually elderly population in the 1970s and 1980s, and thus a low number of children, school provision in the area was lagging behind other similar villages. The old school building was small, worn and lacking in modern facilities.

Church of St Thomas a Becket, Shirenewton
Church of St Thomas a Becket is located in Shirenewton, Monmouthshire, Wales. In the late 12th century the land was inherited by Henry de Bohun. The church was built by his son Humphrey after he inherited the title in 1220, and was dedicated to St. Thomas à Becket who had been assassinated in 1170 and canonised three years later. The chronicler Adam of Usk, who held the post in 1399, was one of the earliest known rectors of the church.
