Waunfawr
Waunfawr is a large village on the outskirts of the Snowdonia National Park, Gwynedd, in Wales, south of Llanrug. Its population is roughly 1,500 Waunfawr railway station on the Welsh Highland Railway between Caernarfon and Porthmadog adjoins the Snowdonia Park Brewpub and Inn at the southern end of the village. The brewpub is a recent winner of the CAMRY award for a number of its beers and voted best pub in the region for 2012.
Moel Tryfan
Moel Tryfan (1400' / 427m) is a small mountain near the villages of Rhosgadfan, Y Fron and Betws Garmon, in northern Gwynedd. The higher and more famous peak of Tryfan above Dyffryn Ogwen has also sometimes been referred to as "Moel Tryfan" in the past. Moel Tryfan could be regarded as the westerly outlier of the larger Mynydd Mawr. The southern and eastern flanks of the mountain were heavily quarried in the past.

Pont Rug (Halt) railway station
Pont Rug was a railway station located to the east of Caernarfon, Gwynedd, where the A4086 road crosses the Afon Seiont. The station was closed for regular passenger services in 1932 but freight trains passed through until the line closed in December 1964.
Rhosgadfan
Rhosgadfan is a Welsh village in the county of Gwynedd. It is notable as the birthplace of Kate Roberts, the author of a book of short stories entitled Te yn y Grug. The Welsh TV programme C'mon Midffild was filmed in the village hall, prior to its destruction. The hall was destroyed in a blaze believed to have been caused by arson . Nobody has been brought to justice.

Ysgol Brynrefail is a secondary school in Llanrug, Gwynedd in North Wales. There are approximately 740 puplis and the current headmaster is Mr Eifion Jones,. Extra-curricular activities such as the annual Eisteddfod form an important aspect of school life. Around Christmas time, sixth form pupils have the opportunity to organise and host a party for children from a local special needs school.
Bryn Bras Castle
Bryn Bras Castle is a Grade II* Listed Building, located on the old road between Llanrug and Llanberis known locally as the Clegir road, in Caernarfon, Gwynedd. The castle is more of a country or stately home than a traditional Welsh Castle. The house was built between 1829 and 1835 by Thomas Hopper on the site of an earlier structure. The site of the first motorcycle Dragon rally in 1962, the house has been converted into luxury holiday apartments.
Atlantic City Speedway
The Atlantic City Speedway was a board oval racing track located near Hammonton, New Jersey. The track was built in 1926, and hosted eight American Automobile Association sanctioned races before the track was demolished in 1933.
