Groeslon
Groeslon is a small village in the community of Llandwrog in the Welsh traditional county of Caernarfonshire. Groeslon is administered by Gwynedd Council. Nearby villages are Penygroes, Carmel and Dinas. The village lies approximately five miles south of Caernarfon. It has one primary school in the centre of the village and no secondary schools. In 2009 there were approximately 530 children enrolled including about 50 pupils in the sixth form (years 12 & 13). Over 80% of the children enrolled are Welsh, and over 90% are from Welsh first language homes or can speak Welsh fluently; the majority of the children are Welsh, while the minority are English or other nationalities. On the school's badge, the words 'Delfryd Dysg Cymeriad' are scribed.
