Heart Cymru
Heart Cymru (formerly Champion 103) is an independent local radio station broadcasting to Gwynedd and Anglesey from the Arfon transmitting station. It was previously part of the Marcher Radio Group, but was rebranded as Heart 103 on 22 June 2009 and is now part the Global Radio owned Heart.
Arfon transmitting station
The Arfon transmitting station is a facility for FM radio and television transmission near the villages of Nebo and Nasareth in Gwynedd, northwestern Wales. It includes a 308.5 m guyed mast with antennas attached at various heights. The mast is surmounted by a television transmitting antenna, which brings the total height of the structure to 317.4 m, making it the tallest structure in Wales. It is owned and operated by Arqiva.
Nantlle Valley
The Nantlle Valley is an area in Gwynedd, north Wales, characterised by its large number of small settlements. Around 80% of the population of the Nantlle Valley speak Welsh as their first language. Some of the communities came into being as a result of slate quarrying in the late eighteenth or early nineteenth centuries. There were a number of quarries in the valley, the largest being the Dorothea and Pen yr Orsedd quarries.

Pant Glas
Pant Glas (Welsh for Blue Hollow) is a hamlet on the A487 road in Gwynedd, Wales. Historically part of Caernarfonshire, it is located approximately 10 miles south of Caernarfon, 9 miles miles north-west of Porthmadog, and 10 miles north-east of Pwllheli. Nearby is the former Pant Glas railway station, which was closed as well as the Carnarvonshire Railway in 1964. The railway has since been replaced with the Lôn Eifion cycle track.

Ysgol Dyffryn Nantlle is a small bilingual secondary school in Penygroes for pupils aged 11–18. In 2009 there were approximately 530 children enrolled including about 50 pupils in the sixth form (years 12 & 13). Over 80% of the children enrolled are Welsh, and over 90% are from Welsh first language homes or can speak Welsh fluently; the majority of the children are Welsh, while the minority are English or other nationalities. On the school's badge, the words 'Delfryd Dysg Cymeriad' are scribed.
