The Roman Catholic Diocese of Wrexham, is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church in Wales. The diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Cardiff, directly subject to the authority of the Pope. The diocese covers an area of 8,361 km² of the ancient counties of Anglesey, Caernarfonshire, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Merionethshire and Montgomeryshire. Bala Junction railway station
Bala Junction railway station in Gwynedd, Wales, was formerly a station on the Ruabon to Barmouth line. It closed to passengers on Monday 18 January 1965. Bala Junction was unusual since it was inaccessible by road and merely served as an interchange station. The station was at the junction with the Blaenau Ffestiniog branch. There was a signal box and the station was a passing place on the single line.

Christ Church, Bala
Christ Church, Bala, is in Bala, Gwynedd, Wales. It is an active Anglican church in the deanery of Penllyn & Edeyrnion, the archdeaconry of Wrexham, and the diocese of St Asaph. The church was designated a Grade II listed building on 13 December 2001. The first church to be built on the site was in 1811. The present church was built between 1853 and 1857. The stalls and prayer desks were designed by the Chester architect John Douglas.
