Fairbourne railway station serves the village of Fairbourne in Gwynedd, Wales. The station is on the Cambrian Coast Railway with passenger services to Barmouth, Harlech, Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Tywyn, Aberdovey, Machynlleth and Shrewsbury. The 12¼ inch gauge Fairbourne Railway has a separate station nearby from which narrow gauge trains run the 2 miles from Fairbourne to Barmouth Ferry (Penrhyn Point).
Friog
Friog is a small village in North Wales, near Fairbourne. Its lake and beach are a tourist attraction to over 1,000 visitors a year. Friog is notable for a rockfall-prone section of railway track, scene of two fatal accidents on the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway line.
Barmouth Ferry railway station
Barmouth Ferry railway station is the northern terminus of the Fairbourne Railway. The station overlooks the Mawddach estuary and offers good views of the Barmouth Bridge. The passenger ferry crosses the estuary to Barmouth. It is one of only a very few stations in Britain to be situated on a balloon loop, allowing trains to return with the engine pointing forwards without needing to uncouple and reverse the locomotive, or use a turntable.
Estuary Halt railway station
Estuary Halt is the newest halt on the Fairbourne Railway opening in late 2006. The station is close to the tunnel, car park, boat landing stages and beaches.
Loop Halt railway station
Loop Halt is the halfway point on the Fairbourne Railway. Here trains pass each other, providing perfect photo opportunities during special events and in the high season. Passengers can alight here for the embankment footpath to Barmouth.
Beach Halt railway station
Beach Halt is a request stop on the Fairbourne Railway re-opening in 2000. The station was formerly called Bathing Beach or Traeth Mawr briefly in the 1980s. Passengers can break their journey here to enjoy Fairbourne's long sandy beaches, Penrhyn amusements and the children's playground.

Fairbourne railway station is the terminus of the 12¼ inch gauge Fairbourne Railway (FR), from which narrow gauge trains run 2 mi from Fairbourne to Barmouth Ferry railway station.
