Brynglas railway station is a request stop on the Talyllyn Railway serving the hamlet of Pandy near Tywyn, Gwynedd in mid-Wales. It is 3 miles, 14 chains (5.11 km) from Tywyn Wharf. Dolgoch railway station is a station on the Talyllyn Railway between Tywyn and Abergynolwyn, Gwynedd in mid-Wales. It is 4 miles 72 chains (7.89 km) from Tywyn Wharf. Unlike most places on the line, the station was built for tourist traffic, for visitors to the local Dolgoch Falls (Dolgoch in English: Red Meadow). All passenger trains stop here to take on water on the up journey.
Nant Gwernol railway station
Nant Gwernol railway station is the eastern terminus of the Talyllyn Railway near Abergynolwyn, Gwynedd in mid-Wales. It is 7 miles, 28 chains (11.83 km) from Tywyn Wharf. Nant Gwernol (English: Alder Stream) station was opened in 1976, at the foot of the former incline to Bryn Eglwys slate quarry - previously the upper part of the line had not been used for passenger services. Trains only wait at the station long enough for the locomotive to run round, as there are no facilities at that point.

Dolgoch Falls (English: Red Meadow) are a series of three waterfalls near Tywyn in Gwynedd, Mid-Wales. The falls are part of the Nant Dol-gôch stream, which flows into the River Fathew, and form a popular walk from the nearby Dolgoch station on the Talyllyn Railway.
Mynydd Esgairweddan
Mynydd Esgairweddan is a hill near Pennal in southern Gwynedd, Wales. Nearby is the tiny settlement of Esgairweddan. It is very close to the site of the old Roman fort of Cefn Caer (Pennal). The area was described in the Topographical Dictionary of Wales by Samuel Lewis (published 1833) as; "A tract of hilly and rocky ground but little adapted for purposes of agriculture.
