Llanfairfechan railway station

Llanfairfechan railway station serves the small seaside town of Llanfairfechan, Wales, and is located on the Crewe to Holyhead North Wales Coast Line. There are regular (two-hourly, with some extras) through services to Chester via Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Prestatyn and Flint. After arrival at Chester, most trains go forward to either Cardiff or Birmingham International. There is also a limited Sunday service, which mainly runs to/from Crewe. This station is a request stop.

Rothsay Castle (ship)

The Rothsay Castle (also spelt Rothesay Castle) was a paddle steamer which was shipwrecked on the Lavan Sands at the eastern end of the Menai Straits, North Wales, in 1831, with the loss of 130 lives. The Rothsay Castle was built in 1816 for service on the River Clyde, Scotland, and was later transferred to Liverpool, England, where she was used for day trips along the coast of North Wales.
