Sketty (electoral ward)
Sketty is the name of an electoral ward, a community and a suburb in the City and County of Swansea, Wales, UK. The community is coterminous with the electoral ward. It is bounded to the following parishes: North by Cockett, East by Uplands, South by the coast, South West by Mumbles and West by Killay. It does not have a Community Council. The electoral ward is divided into a number of polling districts by the City and County of Swansea.
Tycoch
Tycoch (also written Ty-coch) is a suburban district of the City and County of Swansea in Wales. It is situated in the Sketty ward of the city, north-west of Sketty Cross. The area is chiefly residential. Housing around Tycoch Square is mostly pre-war, while that the higher ground at Llwyn Mawr dates from the 1970s onwards.
Killay, Swansea
Killay is the name of a suburb and local government community in Swansea, Wales. Killay has its own community council. The village is set high above sea level, about 3.5 miles west of Swansea city centre. The north of the area is mainly residential and is deemed a relatively affluent area of Swansea. The south of the area consists of an unpopulated common, which is used for grazing and forms part of Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Killay South
Killay South (Welsh: Cilâ - De) is an electoral ward in the City and County of Swansea, Wales. The ward is mainly rural and consists of some or all of the following areas: Dunvant, Ilston, Killay, Sketty and Upper Killay in the parliamentary constituency of Swansea West. It is bounded by the wards of Dunvant and Killay North to the north; Sketty to the east; Mayals to the south; and Fairwood to the west. For the 2012 local council elections, the turnout for Killay south was 43.73%.

Killay North (Welsh: Cilâ - Gogledd) is an electoral ward in the City and County of Swansea, Wales which consists of some or all of the following areas: Killay, Olchfa and Waunarlwydd, in the parliamentary constituency of Swansea West. The village of Killay is located mainly in this ward, set high above sea level, about 3.5 miles west of Swansea city centre. Killay North is bounded by Gowerton and Cockett to the north; Sketty to the east; Killay South to the south and Dunvant to the west.
Hendrefoilan
Hendrefoilan is an area in Swansea, south Wales. The area overlaps the Northwest of Sketty and eastern Killay communities. The western part is often known as Student Village. The Student Village is on the West bank of the Olchfa stream, so is in fact in Killay. It is part of a Satellite Campus of Swansea University. The student village consists of a number of student flats which are let out to students of Swansea University.
Clyne Castle
Clyne Castle is a grade II listed building situated on a hill overlooking Swansea Bay, adjacent to the Clyne valley, near Blackpill, Swansea. It was originally built in 1791 by Richard Phillips, a wealthy Carmarthenshire landowner. The Castle was subsequently remodelled by later owners. Swansea University used the Castle as a hall of residence (Neuadd Gilbertson) after it acquired the building in the 1950s.
Clyne Valley Country Park
The Clyne Valley Country Park is an area of parkland in Britain, at Swansea in south Wales. It lies on either side of the valley of the Clyne River and comprises an area of over 700 acres of land running from the sea at Blackpill, Swansea, inland to Gowerton. It is an area of once splendid woodland with enormous beech, ash and oak trees mainly on the Mumbles side of the Clyne River, and, on the Swansea side, woods and mainly scrub land that has naturally regenerated a reclaimed refuse tip.
