Mayhill
The district of Mayhill (also known as Mayhill Garden City) is spread over the top of a steep hill of the same name just north west of Swansea city centre, partly separated from Townhill to the west. Mayhill Garden City started in 1914 as an experimental row of six houses that are still in occupation today as even numbers 2 to 12 Islwyn Road. The majority of homes were built by 1940.
Cwmbwrla
Cwmbwrla is a residential area of Swansea in Wales, falling within the Cwmbwrla ward of the city. Located on rising ground about 1 mile (1.6 km) north of the city centre, it takes its name from the valley of the Burlais Brook (now culverted) which flows down from here to join the River Tawe immediately northeast of Swansea railway station. Cwmbwrla is a predominantly residential area with just a few local convenience stores.
District of Swansea
The Swansea district was one of the four local government districts of West Glamorgan, Wales from 1974 to 1996. It was formed from the areas of the county borough of Swansea and Gower Rural District, from the administrative county of Glamorgan. It inherited the city status of the county borough and so was styled as the "City of Swansea", and was governed by Swansea City Council. On March 22, 1982 the city was granted letters patent raising the mayor to the dignity of Lord Mayor.
Sea View Community Primary School
The Sea View Community primary school is a mixed primary school of non denominational religion in Swansea, south Wales. The building is a prominent landmark of Swansea, being a very distinctive semi-circular structure located on the top of Mayhill. As its name suggests, it offers an excellent view of the sea. When it was first opened 1932, it was named the Mayhill primary school and was built to serve the growing population of the Townhill council estate.

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bryn Tawe is a Welsh-language comprehensive school based in Penlan, Swansea, southwest Wales. It opened in 2003 to complement Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr and to provide additional capacity following the increased demand for Welsh-medium education in the area. Upon its opening, it held only its own fresh intake, taking none of Gwyr's existing pupils. As a result, the school only reached its full complement of years 7-11 (ages 11–16) with its fifth intake of September 2007.

Townhill is an electoral ward and a community of Swansea, Wales, UK. Townhill does not have a community council. The electoral ward consists of some or all of the following geographical areas: Cwm-Gwyn, Mayhill, Mount Pleasant and Townhill in the parliamentary constituency of Swansea West. The ward is bounded by the wards of Cockett and Cwmbwrla to the north; Castle to the east; and the Uplands to the south.

The ward is bounded by the wards of Cockett to the west; Castle and Townhill to the south; Landore to the east; and Penderry and Mynydd-Bach to the north.

Cwmdu is a suburban district of the City and County of Swansea, Wales. The western part falls within the Cockett ward and the eastern part falls within the Cwmbwrla ward. Cwmdu approximates to the settlement around Middle Road between Cwmbwrla and Gendros.

Gendros is a suburban district of the City and County of Swansea, Wales falling within the Cockett ward. Gendros approximates to the settlement northwest of Carmarthen Road (A483 road) between Cwmdu and Penlan. Other areas surrounding Gendros are Blaen-y-Maes, Cwmbwrla, Cockett, Fforestfach and Mayhill and Townhill. It is also home to Chris Holley, the ex mayor of Swansea. Gendros has a few churches and a primary school along with a community centre at its heart.
