Llanbadarn railway station

Llanbadarn railway station is a railway station serving the ancient villages of Llanbadarn Fawr and Pwllhobi near Aberystwyth in Ceredigion in Mid-Wales. It is an intermediate station on the Vale of Rheidol Railway. Alighting passengers are required to step down onto the grass as there is no platform. The Journey time is to Aberystwyth is five minutes, fifteen minutes to Capel Bangor, thirty five minutes to Aberffrwd and fifty five minutes to Devil's Bridge.

Nanteos Mansion

Nanteos Mansion is a large grade I listed 18th century country house mansion in Rhydyfelin, near Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, Wales. It was built between 1738 and 1757 for a William Powell, with Edward Haycock (senior) designing the stable block in the 1830s, and William Ritson Coultart designing the east wing and rear offices in 1841. In 2008 it featured in an episode of the TV series Ghost Hunters International. The mansion now operates as a hotel.

The Ystwyth Trail is a 21-mile multi-use rail trail linking Aberystwyth, Llanfarian, Ystrad Meurig and Tregaron in Ceredigion, Wales. Cycling and walking are permitted along the entire length while horseriding is permitted on several sections only. The £1.7m Ystwyth Trail was partially completed in September 2008 and runs along part of the former redundant track bed of the Old Manchester and Milford Railway a Great Western Railway branch line.

Ystrad Peithyll

Ystrad Peithyll (also known as Stradpeithyll and Rhosgoch Motte) is the remains of a small 12th-century motte-and-bailey castle on the River Peithyll, near Penrhyn-coch in northern Ceredigion, Wales. Built in the wake of the Norman occupation of Wales under Henry I and inhabited by a steward named Razo or Razon, it was attacked and destroyed in the rebellion led by Gruffydd ap Rhys (1113 or 1116).
