Ystrad Tywi
Ystrad Tywi is an area of south-west Wales situated on the banks of the Tywi river as it approaches the sea to join the Bristol Channel at Carmarthen. Although Ystrad Tywi was never a kingdom itself, it was a valuable territory and was fought over by the various kings of Dyfed, Deheubarth, Seisyllwg, the Kingdom of Gwynedd, the Kingdom of Morgannwg and the Normans. The area now makes up most of the modern county of Carmarthenshire.

A484 road
The A484 road is an A road in Wales connecting Swansea with Cardigan. The road begins at Cadle in Swansea and heads westwards as a southern bypass to Loughor. It continues over the Loughor bridge into Bynea, Carmarthenshire. It continues through the centre of Llanelli and traverses near the south coast of Carmarthen Bay until it reaches Pembrey. After Pembrey, the road bears northwards and continues in a northerly direction towards Carmarthen.
Abergwili railway station
Abergwili railway station served the village of Abergwili in Wales. It was the first station after Gwili Junction, the point where the line through it divided from the Carmarthen to Aberystwyth Line.
Carmarthen Public Rooms
The Carmarthen Public Rooms were built in 1854, with the intention to create public rooms were first expressed by Dr David Lloyd in 1839. Commonly referred to as the "Assembly Rooms" the building was designed by James Wilson (architect) of Bath on the site of the Scurlock family town house, where Sir Richard Steele, founder of The Spectator, died in 1729. The site was occupied by The Ivy Bush inn until c1801, and was then premises of the Timmins family, timber merchants.
