River Llynfi
The River Llynfi, otherwise referred to as the Llynfi River or Afon Llynfi in Welsh, is one of three main tributaries of the River Ogmore or Afon Ogwr. It runs for around 10 miles from its source north of Maesteg and flows generally southwards through the Llynfi Valley to the confluence with the River Ogmore and the River Garw at Aberkenfig.
River Garw
The River Garw (Afon Garw in Welsh, meaning "rugged river") runs for about 12 miles from its source in the hills north of Blaengarw to the confluence with the River Ogmore and the River Llynfi at Aberkenfig. It is one of three main tributaries of the River Ogmore which runs through the town of Bridgend.
Garw Valley Railway
The Garw Valley Railway (formerly Bridgend Valleys Railway) is a standard gauge heritage railway located in South Wales. It is hoped that, in the near future, there will be brakevan rides between Pontycymer and Pant-y-Gog, a distance of about half-a-mile. The line was formerly used for freight and passenger services, and the track is still in place between Brynmenyn and Pontycymer. On 4 March 2006, the Society changed its name from Bridgend Valleys Railway to Garw Valley Railway.

Court Colman Manor
Court Colman Manor is a historic Tudor mansion (now a hotel) in Pen Y Fai, Bridgend, South Wales. The property belonged to Margam Abbey until the Dissolution, after which it passed through several hands. Now a late Georgian style house, probably built (rebuilt) in the second quarter of the 19th Century, enlarged in 1907 with later additions. For most of its history, it has been the home for a succession of people who have guarded their privacy well.
Bryngarw Country Park
Bryngarw Country Park is made up of 48 hectares and is situated on the west bank of the Afon Garw, at the mouth of the Garw Valley in the Bridgend County Borough, Wales, UK. The Western boundary is marked by the Brynmenyn-Bettws road and the River Garw is its eastern boundary. 18 hectares of open meadowlands, which are the subject of grazing tenancy agreements and hence not open to the public, surrounds the Country Park.
