Newborough Warren
Newborough Warren near the village of Newborough (Niwbwrch) is a large dune and beach system of 2,269-hectare, approximately half of which is a conifer plantation. The whole of the site is a Site of special scientific interest and all of the site except the forestry is a National nature reserve. The site is bounded to the south-east by the River Braint and to the north-west by the River Cefni.
Aethwy Rural District
Aethwy was a rural district in the administrative county of Anglesey, Wales, from 1894 to 1974. It was created under the Local Government Act 1894 from the part of the Bangor rural sanitary district which was on Anglesey. In 1933 it was expanded by a county review order, taking in all of the abolished Dwyran Rural District. The district was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972, becoming part of a single Ynys Môn - Isle of Anglesey district.
Newborough Forest
Newborough Forest is a forest to the west of Newborough, Anglesey, North Wales. It is one of the most important red squirrel conservation sites in the United Kingdom. It appears increasingly likely that there are now only 500 red squirrels in Wales and numbers are continuing to decline. The whole area was mainly shifting sand dunes prior to 1947 when afforestation began.
Llys Rhosyr
Llys Rhosyr is an archaeological site near Newborough in Anglesey; the ruins of a pre-Edwardian commotal court. Llys Rhosyr was a commotal centre before the Edward I of Englands conquest of Wales and debate now surrounds the former use of the Rhosyr site. Archaeologists at Gwynedd Archaeological Trust consider it to have been a royal home and have established an exhibition in the Pritchard-Jones Institute in the village on their findings supporting this theory.
Malltraeth
Malltraeth (origin: Mall is a small village in the southwest of Anglesey, in the area of Bodorgan. It is now at the end of a large bay, which used to extend much further inland, almost creating a second sea strait in the area . After several abortive attempts, a 1 km-long 'cob' or dyke was completed across it during the 19th century, allowing land reclamation behind it.
Afon Cefni
Afon Cefni is one of the major rivers on the island of Anglesey, Wales. It is 16.9 kilometres long. The river starts at the Llyn Cefni in the centre of the island and then runs south through the county town of Llangefni. Just north of the A55 the river turns and flows south-west. It passes through the flatlands of the Malltraeth Marshes, where the river course was altered into canal in 1824.
A4080 road
The A4080 is a British A road which is located on the Island of Anglesey, Wales. The road begins at Menai Bridge and runs via Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, Newborough and Rhosneigr to join the A55 about 9 miles (13 kilometres) from Holyhead. In all the road is about 17 miles (27 kilometres) long. As it is one of the main roads on the island it also forms part of the major bus route of the south of the island. The 42, 4 and 4X routes travel along it, running between Holyhead and Bangor.

Dwyran was a rural district in the administrative county of Anglesey, Wales from 1894 to 1933. The rural district was formed by the Local Government Act 1894 from the part of Carnarvon Rural Sanitary District in Anglesey. It took its name from the village of Dwyran, which lay at its centre.
