Holy Island, Anglesey
Holy Island (Welsh: Ynys Gybi, 'the island of Cybi') is an island (15.22 sq mi) on the western side of the larger Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, from which it is separated by a narrow, winding channel. It is called "Holy" because of the high concentration of standing stones, burial chambers and other religious sites on the small island. The alternative and historic name of the island is Holyhead Island. According to the 2001 Census, the population is 13,579.

National Cycle Route 8
The route passes through the heart of Wales, and is also known by its Welsh name Lôn Las Cymru . It is largely north-south from Holyhead to Cardiff and Chepstow, and in total measures some 400 km in length. Some of its route follows the trackbed of former railway lines, such as Lôn Las Menai, Lôn Eifion, the Mawddach Trail and the Taff Trail; in other places, the route is on public highways.
RAF Holyhead
RAF Holyhead was an RAF station situated at Holyhead, Anglesey, Wales. It was the most westernly RAF base in Britain. The former headquarters building was Porth-y-felin House, a Grade II listed building that was sold by the Ministry of Defence in the 1990s.
Port of Holyhead
The Port of Holyhead is a ferry port in Anglesey, Wales, handling more than 2 million passengers each year. Stena Line and Irish Ferries sail from Holyhead to Dublin and Dún Laoghaire in Ireland, forming the principal link for surface transport from north Wales and central and northern England to Ireland. The port is partly on Holy Island and partly on Salt Island.
Holyhead Breakwater and Lighthouse
Holyhead Breakwater is situated at the north-western end of Holyhead on the island of Anglesey in North Wales. The Victorian structure, which is 1.7 miles long, is the longest breakwater in the United Kingdom. The breakwater, which is accessible in good weather, has a promenade on top which leads out to the lighthouse.
Saint Mary's Church, Holyhead
Saint Mary's Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Holyhead. It is within the Diocese of Wrexham. The church was officially opened on the 28th of February 1965.
