The King's Head, Amlwch
The King's Head, Amlwch is a public house situated in Salem Street, one of the main streets in Amlwch, Anglesey, Wales. The pub name is one of many King's Heads found all over the United Kingdom. It is named after Henry VII of England, who was born in Wales in 1457. "The Kings", as it is popularly known, is the only original pub left standing from the town's proud copper industry at Parys Mountain in the eighteenth century.
Anglesey Central Railway
The Anglesey Central Railway was a 17.5 miles long standard-gauge railway in Anglesey, Wales, connecting the port of Amlwch and the county town of Llangefni with the North Wales Coast Line at Gaerwen. Built as an independent railway, the railway opened in portions from 1864 to 1867. Due to financial troubles the railway was sold to the London and North Western Railway in 1876, who invested significantly in the infrastructure.
East Mouse
East Mouse is an islet found off the north coast of Anglesey, Wales. It is found just a few hundred metres away from the town of Amlwch. For this reason the island is known in Welsh as Ynys Amlwch, Amlwch Island. The islet is tiny (a maximum 141 metres long by 61 metres wide) with a maximum area of only 1.5 acres, and void of any significant flora and fauna. The islet is one of three similarly named islands off the north coast of Anglesey, the other two being West Mouse and Middle Mouse.
Amlwch railway station
Amlwch railway station was the original terminus of the Anglesey Central Railway line from Gaerwen. A light railway extension was later added for freight purposes. All stations on the Amlwch line closed to passengers in 1964 as part of the Beeching Axe; freight works continued until 1993.
Bull Bay, Anglesey
Bull Bay is a village and bay on the northern coast of Anglesey, Wales. Its Welsh name, Porth Llechog, means "sheltered bay". The English name is derived from Pwll y Tarw ("the bull's pool"), which is located near the shore close to the bay. The village is located on the A5025. It is the most northerly village in Wales and also contains Wales' most northerly golf course which was opened and funded by a local aristocrat in 1913.
Amlwch lighthouse
The Amlwch lighthouse is a lighthouse tower situated on the outer pier of Amlwch, at the northeast tip of Anglesey, Wales. The existing lighthouse, a square tower erected in 1853, is the fourth on on this site. It has original fine, but battered, ashlar masonry to a height of 4.6 metres; the present lantern was added on top at a later date.
St Eleth's Church, Amlwch
St Eleth's Church, Amlwch is a parish church built in the Neo-classical style in 1800 in Amlwch, a town on the island of Anglesey in north Wales. It stands on the site of earlier buildings, with the first church here said to have been established by St Elaeth (or Eleth) in the 6th century. Increasing prosperity in the town through copper mining during the 18th century led to the construction of a new church to serve the growing population.

Our Lady Star of the Sea and St Winefride, Amlwch is a Roman Catholic church in Amlwch, a town on the island of Anglesey, north Wales. It was built in the 1930s to a design by an Italian architect, Giuseppe Rinvolucri, using reinforced concrete. The church is in the shape of an upturned boat, reflecting Amlwch's maritime heritage, and is dedicated to Our Lady, Star of the Sea (a title of St Mary) and St Winefride, a Welsh saint.
Ysgol Syr Thomas Jones
Ysgol Syr Thomas Jones is the comprehensive school in the Pentrefelin area of Amlwch, Anglesey. The School was opened in 1950 and named after Sir Thomas Jones who was an Amlwch doctor and Chairman of the County Council. The school was initially designed to accommodate 700 pupils. However further blocks were added and by 1977 1265 pupils were on the register. There are two main service tunnels that run underneath the main corridors with two main entrances.
