West Loch Lomond Cycle Path
The West Loch Lomond Cycle Path is a cycle path that runs from Arrochar and Tarbet railway station, at the upper end of Loch Lomond in Scotland, to Balloch railway station, at the bottom of the loch. It was officially opened on 2006-06-20 by Tavish Scott. The path is about 28 kilometers long and runs along the west bank of Loch Lomond, between the west bank of the loch and the busy A82 road. It is mainly flat or downhill if ridden from south to north.
Inversnaid
Inversnaid is a village on the east bank of Loch Lomond in Scotland, near the north end of the loch. It has a pier and a hotel, and the West Highland Way passes through the village. It became notable in 2010, when Inversnaid primary school was deemed to cost £54,000 per pupil, making it the most expensive primary school in the UK on a per capita basis. A small passenger ferry runs from Inversnaid to Inveruglas on the opposite shore of the loch.
Island I Vow
Eilean I Vow or Eilean a' Bhò is a small island in Loch Lomond, in west central Scotland. It is opposite Rubha Bàn, a point on the mainland, and north of Inveruglas Isle. It is 10m at its highest point, and 0.08 km long. The island was a stronghold of Clan MacFarlane, and there are the remains of their castle on it, which was built to replace the one on Inveruglas Isle. In 1710, Buchanan of Auchmar described it as "a pretty good house with gardens".

Wallace's Isle is an island in Loch Lomond, Scotland. Wallace’s Isle is a low, flat island in the mouth of Inveruglas Water, just south of Inveruglas and not far from Inveruglas Isle. It is covered with alder trees. The island may be named after the Scottish patriot, William Wallace (who may have sought refuge here).

Loch Sloy Hydro-Electric Scheme
The Sloy/Awe Hydro-Electric Scheme is a hydro-electric facility situated between Loch Sloy and Inveruglas on the banks of Loch Lomond in Scotland. Construction began in May 1945, under the auspices of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board and was completed in 1949. The official opening ceremony took place on 18 October 1950 and was attended by the Queen Consort. Twenty one men lost their life during the construction. The labour force also included some German prisoners-of-war.
