Battle of Bannockburn
The Battle of Bannockburn (Blàr Allt a' Bhonnaich in Scottish Gaelic) (24 June 1314) was a significant Scottish victory in the Wars of Scottish Independence. It was one of the decisive battles of the First War of Scottish Independence.
Bannock Burn
The Bannock Burn (Scottish Gaelic: Allt a' Bhonnaich) is a stream (burn is Scots for stream) which rises in the Touch Hills to the south-west of Stirling in central Scotland. The Bannock flows eastward and enters the River Forth to the east of Stirling, close to the site of the Battle of Bannockburn (1314). A nearby town, nowadays a suburb of Stirling, is accordingly called Bannockburn. The Battle of Sauchieburn (1488) was also fought close to the Bannock Burn.
St Modan's High School
St Modan's RC High School is an S1-S6 Catholic High School in Stirling, Scotland. The school roll currently stands at over 900 pupils. Pupils travel from the Denny, Banknock, Alloa, Tullibody, Sauchie, Alva, Raploch, Cowie, Bannockburn, Braehead, Riverside, Dunblane and Blanefield areas. In 2008 St. Modan's High School moved to a new site as part of Stirling Councils £10 million Public Private Partnership regeneration of schools.

Cowie is an historic fishing village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This village has existed since the Middle Ages, but in current times it is effectively subsumed into the town of Stonehaven.
Fallin, Stirling
Fallin (Scottish Gaelic: Faillean Innis, the meadow of twigs or pasture) is a village in the Stirling council area of Scotland. It lies on the A905 road 3 miles east of Stirling on a bend in the River Forth. The United Kingdom Census 2001 recorded the population as 2710. It was formerly a pit village, the site of the Polmaise colliery, originally opened in 1904 by Archibald Russell Ltd. At its peak, in 1957, it employed 778 people.
Cowie, Stirling
Cowie is a village in the Stirling council area of Scotland. It lies on the minor B9124 road approximately 4 miles south-east of Stirling and about a mile north of the A9 road. The United Kingdom Census 2001 recorded the population as 2387. Cowie was formerly a pit village and stone quarrying was carried on in the surrounds. It is now the site of a factory manufacturing engineered wood products and other light industries.
Throsk
Throsk (In Scottish Gaelic: Badan Deathach, meaning the thicket among the mist) is a settlement in the Stirling council area of Scotland. It lies on the A905 road east of Fallin close to the River Forth. The United Kingdom Census 2001 recorded the population as 231. Throsk was formerly the site of the Royal Navy's Bandeath armaments depot. This closed in 1978 and now serves as an industrial estate owned by the local council.
New Williamfield
New Williamfield is a cricket ground in Stirling, Scotland. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 2001 when Stirling County v West Lothian. The ground held a neutral Women's One Day International in 2010 when Ireland Women played the Netherlands Women. The ground is used by Stirling County Cricket Club.
