Cadzow Castle
Cadzow Castle, now in ruins, was constructed between 1500 and 1550 on the site of an earlier royal castle, one mile south-east of the centre of Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The town of Hamilton was formerly known as Cadzow or Cadyou (Middle Scots: Cadȝow, the "ȝ" being the letter yogh), until renamed in 1455 in honour of James Hamilton, 1st Lord Hamilton.
Chatelherault Country Park
Chatelherault Country Park is a country park in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Its name is derived from the French town of Châtellerault, the title Duc de Châtellerault being held by the Duke of Hamilton. The country park is centred on the former hunting lodge of the now demolished Hamilton Palace. The lodge was designed by William Adam and completed in 1734. It comprises two pavilions linked by a gateway. The north facade was visible from the palace and forms the front of the building.

Barncluith, Hamilton
Barncluith is an area of Hamilton, Scotland. Barncluith forms the south-eastern part of the town, between the town centre and the Avon Water. It lies either side of Carlisle Road, which leads out of Hamilton to Larkhall and the Clyde Valley. The name derives from "Baron's Cleugh", a cleugh being a ravine. Barncluith Primary School closed in the 1990s. The school building stands at the corner of Miller Street and Townhead Street, and is now the Barncluith Business Centre.

Avongrove
Avongrove is a private housing estate in the west of Hamilton which was built between 1980 and 1996. The estate is situated in one of the highest parts of the town and has views across Clydesdale towards Motherwell, and the Clyde Valley. All of the buildings in Avongrove itself are privately owned houses, with the exception of a petrol station.
Hamilton (NBR) railway station
Hamilton railway station was one of several railway stations to serve the town of Hamilton, Scotland. It was opened on 1 April 1878 by the Glasgow, Bothwell, Hamilton and Coatbridge Railway. It was operated by the North British Railway, which under the Railways Act 1921 became part of the London and North Eastern Railway. The station was temporarily closed from 1 January 1917, reopening on 2 June 1919.
