Lanark (UK Parliament constituency)
Lanark was a county constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1918 to 1983. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post voting system. There was also an earlier Lanark Burghs constituency, from 1708 to 1832.
Lanark Grammar School
Lanark Grammar School is a secondary school in Lanark, Scotland. It was founded in 1183, and celebrated its octocentenary in 1983, including a visit by The Princess Anne. The school draws its pupils from the town of Lanark and many villages in the local area, including Douglas, Carstairs, Forth and Glespin. The school has 5 houses: Lockhart, Jerviswood, Wallace, Hyndford and Braxfield and pupils are sorted into these by tutor group upon the first day of term.

Kirkfieldbank
Kirkfieldbank is a small village and parish in Scotland,on the banks of the river Clyde, close to the town of Lanark, and the village of New Lanark. The village has a school and church, and an old bridge designed by James Lockhart and built in 1699, as well as another bridge for modern traffic. The views from the bridges are very picturesque, and a caravan park is nearby. The village and surrounding Clyde Valley are built on fertile ground noted for their tomato greenhouses.
Action at Lanark
The Action at Lanark was an assassination attack at Lanark, Scotland during the First War of Scottish Independence in May 1297. It was led by Scottish leader William Wallace who led an uprising against the English and murdered Sheriff William Heselrig. At the time following the attack, it was not an isolated incident, but Wallace was joining in with risings taking place across Scotland. Not much is definitely known about this incident.

Castle Qua (also known as Castle Quaw or Castle-dykes) is the name given to an earthwork found in the Cartland Craigs National Nature Reserve near Lanark, South Lanarkshire. It is site number NS84SE 1 in the records of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland. It's believed to be a medieval structure.

Stonebyres Falls is a waterfall of the River Clyde in Scotland. It is located on the former Stonebyres estate at the site of Stonebyres Castle.
Lanark Castle
Lanark Castle was the origin and heart of what later became the royal burgh of Lanark, Scotland. The town grew up outside the castle walls. Long since demolished, the castle lay high on the east bank of the River Clyde, near the confluence with the Mouse Water. As a key strategic high point over the Clyde Valley, the Romans built a fortification on what is still known as Castle Hill, south west of the modern town centre.
