Friarton Bridge
The Friarton Bridge is a light weight concrete road bridge across the Firth of Tay on the southeastern outskirts of Perth, Scotland, approximately 20 miles upstream of the Tay Road Bridge. The bridge was constructed by the Miller Group and engineered by Andrew Stevenson, and is the first light weight concrete bridge built in Europe, and forms part of the eastern spur of the M90 between junctions 10 (Craigend) and 11 (Broxden), the most northerly motorway junction in the UK.
Kinnoull Hill
Kinnoull Hill is a hill located in Perth, Scotland. From the hill's 222m south-facing cliff summit, views are afforded of the River Tay, the Friarton Bridge, and a stretch of the Tay Coast railway line. Further to the south, Moncrieffe Hill can be seen. On an outcrop a few hundred yards to the east of — but visible from — the summit is Kinnoull Tower.

Moncreiffe Island, also known as Friarton Island divides the River Tay into two channels as it flows through Perth in Scotland. It is crossed by the railway line to Dundee.
King James VI Golf Club
King James VI Golf Club, located in Perth, Scotland, is a private golf course also open to visitors. The River Tay setting is notable as it is the country's only self-contained course on a river island. The Island course is only accessible by foot by a side-walk on the side of a train bridge crossing the River Tay. This is believed to be the only Golf Club in the world that members cannot drive to.
Moncreiffe Hill
Moncreiffe Hill is a long, wooded ridge that lies south of Perth, Scotland. It can be easily seen on the right during the final stages of the drive north towards Perth on the M90 motorway. Unlike most British hills, the routes to the summit are almost entirely under tree cover, although the summit area, which is known as Moredun Top, is clear and offers impressive views over Perth and the Firth of Tay.
HM Prison Perth
Located on one site in south east Perth, Scotland, HM Prison Perth is a prison that houses short term adult male prisoners (those prisoners serving under 4 years). A maximum security establishment which also houses fine defaulters and those on remand from the courts of Angus, City of Dundee, Perth and Kinross and the northern part of Fife. There is also a secure unit for Category A prisoners who are serving sentences of up to life imprisonment.
St. Leonards Nunnery, Perth
St. Leonards Nunnery was a former Augustinian convent at Perth, Scotland. After King Edward I of England's foray in Scotland in 1296, the Prioress swore fealty to him. The convent was annexed to the Carthusian Monastery at Perth by 1434 and was suppressed in 1438. Elizabeth Dunbar, daughter of George I, Earl of March, was a prioress of the convent in the 14th-15th century.
Elcho Priory
Elcho Priory was a Cistercian Priory four miles south-east of Perth, Scotland founded in the 13th century. In October 1346, Ranald mac Ruari was assassinated along with eight of his men at Elcho Nunnery as the result of a quarrel with Uilleam III, Earl of Ross. Thomas Wyndham burnt the nunnery on 29 December 1547. During the Scottish Reformation, the nunnery was attacked by Reformers on 26 September 1559 and drove out the nuns and completely destroyed their house.
