Cumbernauld and Kilsyth
Cumbernauld and Kilsyth was formerly (1975 - 96) one of nineteen local government districts in the Strathclyde region of Scotland.
Colzium
Colzium House and Estate (historically pronounced "Colly-um" but more recently "Col-zeum") is about 500 metres to the north-east of Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The present house dates from 1783 and was extended and modernised in 1861. W Mackay Lennox bought the house in 1930 and in 1937, on his retiral as Town Clerk, he presented the House and its policies to Kilsyth Burgh, in memory of his mother.
Battle of Kilsyth
The Battle of Kilsyth was an engagement of the Wars of the Three Kingdoms which took place on 15 August 1645 at Kilsyth. Despite the numerical disadvantage, the battle was another victory for Royalist forces over the Covenanters, and marked the end of William Baillie's pursuit of the Royalists.

Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and Kirkintilloch East is a constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was created for the 2005 general election, replacing Cumbernauld and Kilsyth and part of Strathkelvin and Bearsden. The constituency covers the north of the North Lanarkshire council area, and small eastern and northern part of the East Dunbartonshire council area. It is currently a solid Labour seat.

It was located on the corner of Kingston Road and Station Road and was a three-storey building. The station was demolished after the railway was closed and is now used as car repair workshop.
Kilsyth railway station
Kilsyth Old station was a railway station in the town of Kilsyth in Scotland. It was the original terminus of the Strath Kelvin Railway. It was closed when the railway was extended east with the opening of the Kilsyth and Bonnybridge Railway. A new station was built, Kilsyth New Station and this rendered the Old Station almost useless. It was a stone roofed building.
