Dreghorn
Dreghorn is a village near Irvine, North Ayrshire, Scotland. This parish comprehends the old parishes of Dreghorn and Pearston, which were united in 1668. The whole of the parish was historically the property of the De Morvilles, who were Constables of Scotland and Lords of Cunninghame.
Bourtreehill
Bourtreehill is a large housing estate built by the IDC (Irvine Development Corporation) in the late 1970s it forms part of the Irvine New Town in North Ayrshire, Scotland. The estate has two main parts, known as "Bourtreehill North" and "Bourtreehill South". Along its southern border runs the "Broomlands" estate. In recent years, the Bourtreehill South area has suffered from anti-social behaviour.

Springside, Ayrshire
The village of Springside is in North Ayrshire, Parish of Dreghorn, Scotland. It is three miles from Irvine, 1+⁄2 miles west of Crosshouse and four miles from Kilmarnock. In the 18th, 19th and mid 20th centuries the locality was a highly industrialised coal mining district. The settlement is on the Garrier Burn, which forms the boundary with East Ayrshire. Springside had a population of around 1364 in 1991. The A71 now bypasses the village, ⁄4 miles to the south.
Littlestane Loch
Littlestane Loch, was situated in the mid-Ayrshire clayland near Stanecastle, Irvine, North Ayrshire, Scotland. It is nowadays (2011) only visible as an area of permanent water in the Scottish Wildlife Trust Sourlie Nature Reserve. The loch was natural, sitting in a hollow created by glaciation. The loch waters outflow was via the Red Burn that flows into the River Garnock.
