Beeslack High School
Beeslack Community High School is a non-denominational secondary state school located in Penicuik, Midlothian, Scotland. The school was built in 1984 and covers 17.5 acres of ground on the edge of Penicuik at Glencorse. The school has an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and a smaller fitness suite. In 2006/7 a bistro was built on the side of the school creating extra eating areas. The current Headteacher Jim Cassidy began in August 2009 after leaving Gracemount High School.
Bilston, Midlothian
Bilston is a small village in Midlothian, Scotland, just south of Loanhead on the A701. It is next to Bilston Glen industrial estate. Bilston Burn is a tributary of the River North Esk. It flows east from the village, and is classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). A proposed bypass, taking the A701 east of the village, was put forward by Midlothian Council in 2000, and is included in the development plan.
