Larkfield, Greenock
Larkfield is the largest council housing estate in Greenock, Scotland. It is named after Larkfield Farm but Larkfield Road is mostly in Gourock rather than Larkfield itself. The main road through the estate is Burns Road - all of Larkfield lower than Burns Road is known as the "bottom end" with everything above it the "top end". St Andrews Primary and Aileymill Primary Schools are both situated in Larkfield as was Springfield until recently.

The Cragburn Pavilion was built in 1940 entertainment pavilion in Gourock, Renfrewshire, Scotland. It was built in 1935-6 by J. & J.A. Carrick, in brick and stucco with prominent art deco fluting along its front-facing elevation. It consisted of a large auditorium with ancillary rooms and a restaurant/bar area. It was designed to attract a greater share of Scotland's growing holiday trade.

Gourock High School was a non-denominational comprehensive school catering for boys and girls, 11–18 years of age, in Gourock, Renfrewshire, Scotland. The school taught around 630 pupils. The school motto was 'Honor Diligentiae Praemium. ' which means 'The Reward for hard work is renown'. Willie Todd had been Headteacher since February 2008. The school was ranked 22nd in a listing of the top 50 secondary schools in Scotland in 2005.
Granny Kempock Stone
The megalithic Kempock Stone, popularly known as Granny Kempock (perhaps because of its resemblance to an old woman), stands on a cliff behind Kempock Street, the main shopping street in Gourock, Scotland. The stone, or menhir, is grey mica schist and of indeterminate origin, but it has been suggested that it is an old altar to the pagan god Baal, or a memorial to an ancient battle.

The stadium is primarily set up for athletics, with a running track, but it is also the traditional home of Greenock Juniors Football Club. The stadium is undergoing a £1.7 million refurbishment in preparation for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The stadium was built in 1958 with a cinder track, upgraded to synthetic in 1992.
