Neave Island
Neave Island (also Coomb Island) is an island on the north coast of the Scottish mainland. Neave Island is a small rugged island to the east of Eilean nan Ròn in Sutherland, separated from the mainland by a narrow channel, Caol Beag. It is just over half a mile from the settlement of Skerray and is known for its sandy beach on the far eastern end of the island. There are remains of an ancient church.

Skerray Bay is an arm of the Atlantic Ocean, located on the north coast of Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. Small and rocky, it is situated to the north of Clashbuie and northwest of the crofting community of Skerray. The rock, Càrn Mòr, it at the entrance, while the channel, Caol Beag, separates Coomb Island from the mainland. Strathan Skerray - Skerray Bay is a Geological Conservation Review site. Walkers enjoy the 8 miles Skerray Bay to Tongue trek.
