Moray Firth Radio
Moray Firth Radio or MFR is an Independent Local Radio station broadcasting to the Scottish Highlands, Moray, the Orkney islands and parts of north west Aberdeenshire. The station, owned and operated by Bauer Radio, broadcasts from studios in the Scorguie area of Inverness and forms part of Bauer's Place Network of stations.

Scorguie (Scottish Gaelic: Sgurr Gaoithe, "The Windy Ridge") is an area in the north west of Inverness located in the Scottish Highlands. It sits between Kinmylies and Clachnaharry and is situated beside the Caledonian Canal at the Muirtown Locks.

The Battle of Clachnaharry was a Scottish clan battle that took place in the year 1454. It was fought between the Clan Munro and the Clan Mackintosh on the south bank of the Beauly Firth at Clachnaharry, on the outskirts of Inverness.
Muirtown
Muirtown is an area in the west end of the city of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. It contains the Muirtown basin, and Muirtown Primary School. An expansion of the Caledonian Canal close to its northeastern termination, the Muirtown Basin lies between Clachnaharry and Muirtown a mile (1.5 km) northwest of Inverness city centre.
Clachnaharry
Clachnaharry is a former fishing village, now part of the city of Inverness in the Highland council area of Scotland. Clachnaharry is situated on the south shore of the Beauly Firth, about 2 miles (3 km) west of the city centre. The village was often wrongly said to have derived its name from the Gaelic Clach na Faire, 'watchman's stone' which refers to nearby rocks used as a look out post by the townsfolk of Inverness.
Balnafettack
Balnafettack is an area in the north west of Inverness located in the Scottish Highlands. It is named after the farm upon which the present residential housing is built. It sits above Scorguie and was the final area on the West-side of Inverness to be developed due to its proximity to the steep crags of Craig Phadraig. The Vitrified fort at the top of Craig Phadraig is accessed from Balnafettack.
New Craigs Psychiatric Hospital
New Craigs Psychiatric Hospital is a hospital situated in Leachkin, on the western outskirts of Inverness, Scotland. New Craigs opened in July 2000, and replaced Craig Dunain Hospital and Craig Phadrig Hospital, which were both located nearby. The hospital was funded under a Private finance initiative scheme - it was built and managed by Robertson Group, with NHS Highland repaying for the cost over a 25 year contract. The total cost to NHS Highland is estimated at £106 million.
Craig Phadrig
Craig Phadrig is a forested hill on the western edge of Inverness, Scotland. A hill fort on the summit is generally supposed to have been the base of the Pictish king Bridei mac Maelchon. The hill rises to 172 metres above sea level, and overlooks the Beauly Firth to the north and the mouth of the River Ness to the north-east. The hill is currently owned and managed by the Forestry Commission Scotland.
