Inverernie
Inverernie is a small settlement, which also boasts a local shop, within Farr and the wider area of Strathnairn in the Highlands of Scotland. This corner of Farr was originally home to Inverernie Estate before it was later sold in the mid 20th century. The spelling of Inverernie accidentally changed to 'Inverarnie' in the latter half of the 20th century, and has remained so ever since.
The Artist's Cottage project
The Artist's Cottage project is the realisation of three unexecuted designs by Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh (CRM). In 1901, Mackintosh produced two speculative drawings, An Artist's Cottage and Studio and A Town House for an Artist. He also drew three preliminary sketches titled, Gate Lodge, Auchinbothie, Kilmalcolm, and the final drawing for the completed building.
