Pollokshaws
Pollokshaws is a district on the southside of the city of Glasgow, Scotland. The housing stock mostly consists of some sandstone tenement housing, tower blocks and modern brick tenement-style buildings. According to the 2001 Census Pollokshaws has a population of 4,295. Its residents are a mixture of working class and middle class social groups, and the area also has a large South Asian community.
Eastwood, Strathclyde
Eastwood was one of nineteen local government districts in the Strathclyde region of Scotland from 1975 to 1996, lying south-west of the City of Glasgow. The district was formed from the area of the First District of the former county of Renfrewshire. The council's headquarters were at Giffnock. The district was named after the larger Eastwood civil parish itself named after a long-vanished woodland. The district was abolished by the Local Government etc.

Pollok Country Park is a 146-hectare country park located in Pollok, south Glasgow (though before the building of the M77 motorway in 1994, it was the largest urban green space in Europe). In 2006 Pollok County Park was named the best park in Britain and in 2008, it was named the Best Park in Europe, beating off strong competition from parks in Italy, France, Germany, Poland and Sweden.
Haggs Castle
Haggs Castle is a 16th century tower house, located in the neighbourhood of Pollokshields, in Glasgow, Scotland. The richly decorated building was restored in the 19th century, and today is once more occupied as a residence.
Newlandsfield Park
Newlandsfield Park is the home of Pollok Football Club and is located in the Newlands area of Glasgow, immediately adjacent to the Pollokshaws East railway station. It has a capacity of 4000 (1500 covered), and was opened for the 1928-29 season.

Pollokshields Burgh Hall
The Pollokshields Burgh Hall stands at the edge of Maxwell Park, Glasgow, Scotland. Designed by Henry Edward Clifford and constructed in 17th-century Scottish Renaissance style, this was opened in 1890 by Sir John Stirling Maxwell as a Masonic Meeting Place and for the use of the community but served the independent burgh of Pollokshields only until 1891 when the rapidly expanding city swallowed up the area. The hall contained various council offices and a courtroom.

Titwood, known as Citylets Titwood during international matches for sponsorship reasons, is a cricket ground in the Pollokshields district of Glasgow, Scotland. It is the home of the Clydesdale Cricket Club and alternates with The Grange in Edinburgh as a home venue for the Scotland national cricket team.
