Jordanhill College
Jordanhill Campus, in Jordanhill, Glasgow, Scotland, is now home to the Faculty of Education of the University of Strathclyde. Within the University of Strathclyde faculty of education, departments include Childhood and Primary Studies, Creative and Aesthetic Studies, Curricular Studies, Educational and Professional Studies, and Sport, Culture and the Arts. Anniesland College is a small, local further education college in Glasgow, Scotland, established in 1964. Kenny Dalglish, the Scottish international football player was briefly a student, as an apprentice joiner, in the 1970s. Anniesland Court
Anniesland Court is a 24-storey residential tower block in the Anniesland area of Glasgow, Scotland, designed by J Holmes & Partners and completed in 1968. It is the tallest listed building in Scotland, and is remarkably similar to Ernő Goldfinger's later and more famous Trellick Tower in London. It is the only tower block in Glasgow to have been granted category A listed status, the highest level of protection for an occupied building in Scotland.
High School of Glasgow
The High School of Glasgow is an independent, co-educational day school in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded as the Choir School of Glasgow Cathedral in around 1124, it is the oldest school in Scotland, and the twelfth oldest in the United Kingdom. It remained part of the Church as the city's grammar school until coming under local authority control in 1872, and was privatised in 1976.
Scotstoun Primary School
Scotstoun Primary School is a primary school built by Renfrew Landward School Board in 1905 on Earlbank Avenue. The building differs from those built by the Glasgow School Board in many respects, notably in the inclusion of its distinctive towers. The current head teacher is Gillian Mackay. Scotstoun remained outwith Glasgow city boundaries until 1926, when it was annexed to provide land for Glasgow Corporation's planned new housing estates.

New Anniesland is a rugby, and cricket field in Glasgow, Scotland, near the Jordanhill railway station. It is home to the Glasgow Academicals rugby team and the Glasgow Accies Cricket Club.
Whiteinch Victoria Park railway station
Whiteinch Victoria Park railway station was a suburban railway station serving Whiteinch in Glasgow, Scotland. It was opened as a goods station known as Whiteinch in 1874 as part of the newly constructed Whiteinch Railway. http://www. railscot. co. uk/Whiteinch_Railway/frame. htm In 1897, the station was rebuilt as Whiteinch Victoria Park, with services running to Jordanhill railway station. However, the passenger service was terminated in 1951.

Gartnavel Royal Hospital is a mental health facility based in the west end of Glasgow, Scotland. It provides inpatient psychiatric care for the population of the West of the City; covering Hillhead, Partick, Scotstoun, Yoker, Clydebank, Drumchapel, Bearsden and Milngavie. It used to house the regional adolescent psychiatric unit but this has recently moved to a new psychiatric unit at Stobhill Hospital.
Govan Old Parish Church
Govan Old Parish Church was a parish church in the Church of Scotland, serving Govan in Glasgow. It was also known as "St Constantine's". Since 2007, the congregation has become part of Govan and Linthouse Parish. Govan Old Church is no longer used for regular Sunday services, but the building remains open and is used for occasional services, including midweek services. The dedication is to Saint Constantine of Strathclyde whose shrine at Govan is still in existence.
Partick West railway station
Partick West railway station served the Partick area of the city of Glasgow, particularly the Thornwood section of Partick. It was a four platform station on the Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire Railway, with two platforms on an east-west line with services between Dumbarton and Glasgow city centre and a further two platforms on a north-south line with services between Maryhill and the city centre.

The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWSCC; formerly called the Beatson Oncology Centre) is a specialised cancer care centre in Glasgow, Scotland. Until recently it had facilities in Gartnavel General Hospital, the Western Infirmary and Glasgow Royal Infirmary. As part of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Acute Services Review, the centre is being centralised within new facilities at the Gartnavel General Hospital site.

Gartnavel General Hospital is a teaching hospital in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland. The hospital is located next to the Great Western Road, between Hyndland, Anniesland and Kelvindale. Hyndland railway station is adjacent to the hospital. The name Gartnavel is derived from the Gaelic Gart (field or enclosure) Ubhal (apple) - i.e. field of apple trees.

St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School is a Catholic secondary school in Jordanhill, Glasgow. The current head teacher is Andrew McSorley, who took over at the beginning of the 2006-2007 session having left his old head post in Edinburgh's St Thomas of Aquin's High School. The previous head teacher was Thomas Bradshaw who headed the school for 13 years.
Fossil Grove
The Fossil Grove is located within Victoria Park, Glasgow, Scotland. It was discovered in 1887 and contains the fossilised stumps of eleven extinct Lepidodendron trees, which are sometimes described as "giant club mosses" but they may be more closely related to quillworts. The Fossil Grove is managed as a museum and has been a popular tourist attraction since it opened for public viewing.
