Jordanhill College
Jordanhill Campus, in Jordanhill, Glasgow, Scotland, is now home to the Faculty of Education of the University of Strathclyde. Hamilton Crescent is a cricket ground located in the Partick area of Glasgow, Scotland. It is the home of the West of Scotland Cricket Club. Hamilton Crescent is famous for holding the first ever international football match, played between Scotland and England. The game was played on 30 November 1872, ended in a goalless draw and was watched by a crowd of 4,000. Further international matches were held here in 1874 and 1876, before being moved to Hampden Park.

Alex Kapranos (Huntley) was a part-time lecturer in IT for a couple of years until June 2003, when Franz Ferdinand, the Glasgow indie rock band, of which he was lead singer/guitarist, signed a recording contract with Domino Records.

The park covers an area of 33 ha (81.5 acres), and consists mostly of woodland, with some grass and wildflower meadows in the southeast area of the park. The park was created from lands purchased by Glasgow City Council from Sir Archibald Campbell of Succoth, in 1922.

Anniesland Court is a 24-storey residential tower block in the Anniesland area of Glasgow, Scotland, designed by J Holmes & Partners and completed in 1968. It is the tallest listed building in Scotland, and is remarkably similar to Ernő Goldfinger's later and more famous Trellick Tower in London. It is the only tower block in Glasgow to have been granted category A listed status, the highest level of protection for an occupied building in Scotland.

It used to house the regional adolescent psychiatric unit but this has recently moved to a new psychiatric unit at Stobhill Hospital.

The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWSCC; formerly called the Beatson Oncology Centre) is a specialised cancer care centre in Glasgow, Scotland. Until recently it had facilities in Gartnavel General Hospital, the Western Infirmary and Glasgow Royal Infirmary. As part of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Acute Services Review, the centre is being centralised within new facilities at the Gartnavel General Hospital site.

Gartnavel General Hospital is a teaching hospital in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland. The hospital is located next to the Great Western Road, between Hyndland, Anniesland and Kelvindale. Hyndland railway station is adjacent to the hospital. The name Gartnavel is derived from the Gaelic Gart (field or enclosure) Ubhal (apple) - i.e. field of apple trees.

Fossil Grove
The Fossil Grove is located within Victoria Park, Glasgow, Scotland. It was discovered in 1887 and contains the fossilised stumps of eleven extinct Lepidodendron trees, which are sometimes described as "giant club mosses" but they may be more closely related to quillworts. The Fossil Grove is managed as a museum and has been a popular tourist attraction since it opened for public viewing.
