Breasclete

Breasclete is a village and community on the west side of the Isle of Lewis, in Scotland. One of the main services in the village is Breasclete Primary School, which has a current total of 27 students. There is a thriving community with the new Hall as the base for a number of community groups and organisations. The village also hosts the Equatec facility, a pharmaceutical facility dedicated to fatty acid research and production, which has now been taken over by German giant BASF in June 2012.

Callanish II

The Callanish II stone circle (Cnoc Ceann à Gharaidh) is one of many megalithic structures around the better-known (and larger) Calanais I on the west coast of the isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides (Western Isles), Scotland. This is an elliptical setting of five stones with a major axis of about 21 metres and a minor axis of about 19 metres. Originally there were a total of 10 stones of the ellipse with an 11th outlier.

Callanish III

The Callanish III stone circle (Cnoc Filibhir Bheag) is one of many megalithic structures around the better-known (and larger) Calanais I on the west coast of the isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides (Western Isles), Scotland. This is a complex setting of 17 stones variously described as a double ellipse and as two concentric circles with an inner cove. It is just a few hundred metres from the Callanish II stone circle.

Breasclete Primary School

Breasclete Primary School (Sgoil Bhreascleit) is a small school on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, providing education for Primaries 1-7. In the past it was an all Gaelic Medium school, but has had to branch out to help newcomers to the area who are unfamiliar with the native language. It used to provide for over sixty pupils but has been reduced in size to approximately 25 pupils.

Eilean Kearstay is an uninhabited island in Loch Roag in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. It lies south east of Great Bernera, just across the water from the headland of Callanish. In 1990 the island was sold by Prince Robin de la Lanne-Mirrlees to an Australian. It was sold to new owners three years later.

Ceabhaigh

Ceabhaigh is a small island in an arm of Loch Ròg on the west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. It is about 25 hectares in extent. It is not known if the island was ever permanently inhabited. It lies in Loch Ròg nan Ear (West Loch Roag) between the mainland village of Breasclete and the larger island of Great Bernera and just north of Eilean Chearstaidh. The little skerry of Sgeir nan Cleibh lies just to the north.
