M8 motorway (Scotland)
The M8 is the busiest motorway in Scotland and one of the busiest in the United Kingdom. It connects the country's two largest cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and serves other large communities including Airdrie, Coatbridge, Greenock, Livingston and Paisley. The motorway is 60 miles long – excluding a 6-mile gap between the Glasgow suburb of Baillieston and Newhouse – and is notorious for traffic jams, especially its Central Glasgow section.
Edinburgh West (UK Parliament constituency)
Edinburgh West is a burgh constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, first used in the 1885 general election. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Maybury
Maybury is an area on the western edge of Edinburgh, Scotland, near South Gyle and Ingliston, named after the civil engineer Sir Henry Maybury (1864–1943). Dominated by a major road junction, the most notable feature is the Maybury Roadhouse, built in 1935 and one of Edinburgh's finest examples of Art Deco architecture. It was converted into a casino in the late 1990s.
