Ballencrieff, East Lothian
Ballencrieff is a rural community in East Lothian, Scotland. It is located between the towns of Aberlady, Drem, Haddington and Longniddry and is approximately 20 miles from Edinburgh. The name comes from the Scottish Gaelic Baile na Craoibhe meaning "Tree town". The village comprises typical rural housing, and some industry, including commercial pork farming, and a specialized plant which selectively breeds chickens to lay high-quality eggs. Nearby Ballencrieff Castle was built in 1507.

Luffness is a hamlet in East Lothian, Scotland. It lies between the towns of Gullane and Aberlady and is approximately 20 miles east of Edinburgh. Most of the houses in Luffness are traditional farm cottages; among its notable buildings are Luffness Castle (also known as Luffness House) and Luffness Mill. Luffness New golf course is part of the fine selection of courses in the area, and the Myreton Motor Museum is nearby.
Hopetoun Monument
The Hopetoun Monument is a monument in the Garleton Hills, near Camptoun, East Lothian, Scotland. It is 95 feet tall. Situated on Byres Hill near Haddington, the monument was erected in 1824 in memory of John Hope, 4th Earl of Hopetoun (1765–1823). The foundation stone was laid on May 3, 1824.
Ballencrieff Castle
Ballencrieff Castle, also known as Ballencrieff House, is a large tower house at Ballencrieff, East Lothian, Scotland. It is located three miles north west of Haddington, and one mile south of Aberlady. The castle was built in 1507 when King James IV ordered his private secretary James Murray to build himself a fortified house at Ballencrieff. It was destroyed in or around 1545, and rebuilt by his son, also John Murray, in 1586.

Chesters Hill Fort is an Iron Age hill fort in East Lothian, Scotland. It lies one mile south of Drem, 1.5 miles east of Ballencrieff Castle, 2.5 miles north of Haddington, and 2 miles west of Athelstaneford. The name "Chesters" comes from Latin castra, a fortified place.
Luffness Platform railway station
Luffness Platform (also known as Luffness Golf Club Halt) served a golf course near Gullane in Scotland. It was served by the Aberlady, Gullane and North Berwick railway. This line diverged from the North British Railway Main Line at Aberlady Junction, east of the current Longniddry station. For the private use of members of the Luffness Golf Club, this unstaffed halt was opened in 1898 and closed in 1932.
