Aberlady Bay
Aberlady Bay is a bay in East Lothian, Scotland between Aberlady and Gullane. In 1952, Aberlady Bay became the UK's first Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and is served by the East Lothian Council Rangers. The Scottish Ornithologists' Club has Waterston House as its headquarters at Aberlady, with panoramic views of the Bay. Aberlady Bay is part of the John Muir Way, a long distance footpath from Fisherrow to Dunglass.
Gosford House
Gosford House is the family seat of the Charteris family and is situated near Longniddry in East Lothian, Scotland. It was recently the home of the late Rt. Hon. David Charteris, 12th Earl of Wemyss and 8th Earl of March, chief of the name and arms of Charteris. Gosford was built by the 7th Earl of Wemyss between 1790 and 1800. It was built to plans by the architect Robert Adam (1728–1792), who died before the house was completed.

George Waterston Memorial Centre and Museum
The George Waterston Memorial Centre and Museum is a local museum in Fair Isle, Scotland. George Waterston OBE (1911-1980), the former Scottish Director of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, was a much-loved figure who had a massive and positive influence on Fair Isle. He bought the island after World War II and co-founded the Bird Observatory in 1948, giving the isle’s economy a much-needed boost.
Longniddry Bents
Longniddry Bents is a beach just north of Longniddry in East Lothian, Scotland. The beach is almost 2 miles in length, which includes Gosford Bay to the east side, and the rockier Seton Sands to the west. Along the beach are the remains of a wall of concrete tank traps erected during World War II as protection from any attempted German invasion. Many of these are now hidden in the surrounding sea-grass and sea buckthorn bushes.

Aberlady railway station served the village of Aberlady in Scotland. It was served by the Aberlady, Gullane and North Berwick railway. This line diverged from the East Coast Main Line at Aberlady Junction, east of the current Longniddry station.
Kilspindie Castle
Kilspindie Castle is located to the north of the village of Aberlady, in East Lothian, Scotland. The remains of the castle are sited behind the Victorian St Mary's Kirk. An early castle was destroyed in the 16th century, and the rebuilt tower was pulled down by the 1700s. Little more than a few scattered stones of the base of a doorway with a length of wall punctuated by oval gun loops remain. The area is protected as a scheduled monument.
