Anniesland Court
Anniesland Court is a 24-storey residential tower block in the Anniesland area of Glasgow, Scotland, designed by J Holmes & Partners and completed in 1968. It is the tallest listed building in Scotland, and is remarkably similar to Ernő Goldfinger's later and more famous Trellick Tower in London. It is the only tower block in Glasgow to have been granted category A listed status, the highest level of protection for an occupied building in Scotland.

New Kilpatrick, (also known as East Kilpatrick or Easter Kilpatrick) is an ecclesiastical Parish and former Civil Parish in Dunbartonshire. It was formed in 1649 from the eastern half of the parish of Kilpatrick (also known as Kirkpatrick), the western half forming Old Kilpatrick. New Kilpatrick is also a disused name for the town of Bearsden.

Garscadden Wood lies to the north of Drumchapel on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland. It is known locally as the Bluebell Woods. The wood can be accessed via Peel Glen Road in the west, Chesters Road in the east. It is bordered by Bearsden Golf Course to the north, and Drummore Road to the south.

Kilmardinny is a loch in Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The loch is renowned for coarse fishing and its abundance of perch and roach. Situated nearby is Kilmardinny House, which after being owned by a succession of Glaswegian merchants and the Glasgow MP Robert Dalglish was donated to the East Dunbartonshire Council and is presently in use as an arts and culture centre.

University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine
The School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow is one of six veterinary schools in the United Kingdom, and offers undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Medicine. It was established in 1862 as the independent Glasgow Veterinary College, being subsumed into the University in 1949 and gaining independent Faculty status in 1969. In 2010 it became a constituent school of the new College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences.
Scotus College
Scotus College, located in Bearsden, Glasgow, was founded in 1985 under the name of Chesters College and in 1993 was reconstituted as Scotus College. It was then the only remaining Roman Catholic seminary in Scotland. Its closure was announced in April, 2009.
Aquhorthies College
Aquhorthies College or Aquhorthies House, located between Blairdaff and Inverurie in Aberdeenshire, was a Roman Catholic seminary in Scotland from 1799 to 1829. At the time it was the only Catholic seminary in the east of Scotland. The house still stands, it is a Category A listed building and is very close to the Easter Aquhorthies stone circle.
