Angus
Angus is one of the 32 local government council areas of Scotland, a registration county and a lieutenancy area. The council area borders Aberdeenshire, Dundee City and Perth and Kinross. Main industries include agriculture and fishing. Global pharmaceuticals company GSK has a significant presence in Montrose in the north of the county.

Kinnettles
Kinnettles is located in Angus, a Council Area in the northeast of Scotland. The Parish is bounded on the north and east by Forfar, on the southeast and south by Inverarity and the southwest and northwest by Glamis. The centre of the Parish is dominated by the oblong Brigton Hill (164m) whose steepest slopes descend to the Kerbet Water. The Kerbet valley is well wooded and contains two small hamlets, Kirkton and Douglastown.
Fern, Buckinghamshire
Fern is a hamlet in the parish of Little Marlow, in Buckinghamshire, England. Historically this was a wasteland area of the parish, off the Marlow to Bourne End road. A workhouse was built here in 1781, which was a productive needlework and embroidery manufactory during the Victorian times. After the workhouse was sold to private hands in the early twentieth century, it became known as Fern House, and other cottages and houses were built along what is now Fern Lane.
Finavon Castle
Finavon Castle lies on the River South Esk, about a quarter of a mile south of Milton of Finavon village and five miles to the north-east of Forfar in Angus, Scotland. The name is applied both to a ruined 17th century castle, as well as the 19th century mansion house 130m to the west.
Guthrie Castle
Guthrie Castle is a castle and country house in Angus, Scotland. It is located in the village of Guthrie, 10 kilometres east of Forfar, and 29 kilometres north-east of Dundee. The castle dates back to the 15th century, although much of the present building is of 19th century origin. It is now a private house, but is hired out as a venue for corporate events and weddings.
Melgund Castle
Melgund Castle, lying around 2 kilometres due east of Aberlemno in Angus, Scotland, is a restored 16th century house which today serves as a private residence. The castle is generally said to have been built in 1543 on the orders of Cardinal David Beaton as a home for himself and his mistress, Margaret Ogilvie. However, Charles McKean has argued that the work of the 1540s was a re-modelling of an earlier building.

Inverquharity
Inverquharity is a Roman fortlet in Scotland, close to the Highland Line about 5 miles north of Kirriemuir, Angus. Although very little archaeological work has taken place, it is assumed that Inverquharity forms part of the Roman occupation during the Flavian period; this would mean it was constructed sometime between 70 and 86 CE. It would thus form part of the series of Strathmore forts, which include Inchtuthil, Cargill I and II, Cardean and Stracathro.
Panmure House
Panmure House was a 17th-century country house in the Parish of Panbride, Angus, Scotland, 4 miles to the north of Carnoustie. It was the seat of the Earl of Panmure. It was rebuilt in the 19th century, and demolished in 1955. The Panmure estate was inherited by the Maule family in 1224, and the remains of Panmure Castle are located close to the site of the house. Panmure House was designed by the king's master mason John Mylne, although he died in 1667, before it was completed.
Carlungie and Ardestie earthhouses
Carlungie and Ardestie Earthhouses can be found in farmland north of Monifieth and Carnoustie. They date to the late Iron Age, from the 1st to 2nd centuries AD. They are examples of souterrains, probably used to store food.
Inverquharity Castle
Inverquharity Castle is a 15th-century tower house in Angus, Scotland. It lies around 4.5 kilometres north-east of Kirriemuir, on the south bank of the River North Esk. The lands of Inverquharity came to the Ogilvie family around 1420. The castle was first constructed as a rectangular tower in the 1440s, by Alexander Ogilvie, 2nd Lord Inverquharity. In the 16th century a wing was added to form a four-storey L-plan castle.
Gardyne Castle
Gardyne Castle is a 16th-century tower house in Angus, Scotland. It is located 2 kilometres south-west of Friockheim. The castle is still in use as a family home, and is protected as a Category A listed building.

Camus Cross
The Camus Cross, otherwise known as the Camuston or Camustane Cross, is an Early Medieval Scottish standing stone located on the Panmure Estate near Carnoustie in Angus, Scotland. First recorded in the 15th century in a legal document describing the boundaries between Camuston and the barony of Downie, and described in the 17th century by Robert Maule, it is a freestanding cross, rare in Eastern Scotland.

The Dunnichen Stone is a class I Pictish symbol stone that was discovered in 1811 at Dunnichen, Angus.

Panmure Testimonial
The Panmure Testimonial, otherwise known as the Live and Let Live Memorial, is a monument in Angus, Scotland. It was erected in 1839 to commemorate the generosity of William Maule, the 2nd Earl of Panmure (later 1st Baron of Panmure) during the 'year of short corn' in 1826, a year in which an unusually hot and dry summer led to severe food shortages. In response, Lord Panmure suspended the collection of rent from his tenant farmers. The monument was paid for in full by the tenant farmers.
Downie Hills
The Downie Hills are a small range of hills in Angus, Scotland, approximately 4 kilometres to the North of Carnoustie. At their highest point is the summit of Camustane Hill, where lies the Panmure Testimonial. To the east of this is a tree-lined avenue that leads via the Camus Cross to the former site of Panmure House.
Kirriemuir Sculptured Stones
The Kirriemuir Sculptured Stones are a series of Class II and III Pictish stones found in Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland. Their existence points to Kirriemuir being an important ecclesiastical centre in the late first millennium AD.

Angus Folk Museum
Angus Folk Museum is a centre for agricultural history and rural life located near Forfar, Angus. It is located in the village of Glamis off the A94. The museum was founded by Jean, Lady Maitland who gifted her collections to the nation in the 1950s. Since 1976 it has been administered by the National Trust for Scotland. The museum has been described as containing "one of Scotland's finest folk collections".
Lochside Park
Lochside Park is a cricket ground in Forfar, Scotland. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1984 when Scotland B played Durham University. The ground held its first List A match when Scotland played Lancashire in the 1991 Benson & Hedges Cup. Five further List A matches were played there, all involving Scotland in the Benson & Hedges Cup. The last match of that type to be held there came in the 1998 Benson & Hedges Cup when Derbyshire were the visitors.
