Milltimber
Milltimber is a suburb to the west of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is situated approximately 8 miles inland of the North Sea, around 6 miles west of Aberdeen. Along with the nearby settlements of Cults and Bieldside, it is home to some of the most wealthy residents of Aberdeen. Facilities in Milltimber are somewhat lacking with the nearest shop situated in neighbouring Bieldside.

Culter School (pronounced coo-ter) is an Aberdeen City Council owned and operated primary school in Peterculter, Aberdeen, Scotland. The school was built in 1896 as a Secondary School, but was a combined Primary and Secondary School prior to the construction of Cults Academy in 1967 converted it into a Primary School. It is now a feeder school of Cults Academy.
International School of Aberdeen
The International School of Aberdeen (ISA) is a school in Pitfodels, Cults, Aberdeen, Scotland. It takes in students that come from other countries besides the UK, although often British students are allowed to attend the school. It was formerly known as the American School in Aberdeen. It is one of three IB World Schools in Scotland that offers the IB Diploma Programme. The other two are St Leonards School, St Andrews and Fettes College, Edinburgh.
Crynoch Burn
Crynoch Burn is a stream in Aberdeenshire that is tributary to the River Dee. This stream rises somewhat above Netherley and flows near Netherley House; and thence into the Red Moss, a significant natural bog habitat; thence near the historic Lairhillock Inn; and finally by the village of Maryculter and through Oldman Wood before discharge to the Dee. Headwaters areas include the northern and western slopes of Meikle Carewe Hill and the northern slopes of Curlethney Hill.
Normandykes
Normandykes is the site of a Roman marching camp 1 mile to the southwest of Peterculter, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The near-rectangular site, measuring approximately 860 by 510 metres (by yd), covers about 106 acres of the summit and eastern slopes of a hill overlooking the River Dee and the B9077 road further south. Aerial photographs for Normandykes have been archived between 1947 and 1976. The camp is about 6 miles, or less than half a day's march, north of the Raedykes camp.
Maryculter House
Maryculter House is an historic structure along the Royal Deeside in Kincardineshire, Scotland. Access to this structure is via the B9077 road. The church and graveyard associated with Maryculter House are designated national monuments. A hotel in modern times, this building is erected on the site where Knights Templar trained circa 1227 AD.
Leuchar Burn
Leuchar Burn is a stream that rises in the Loch of Skene, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland Initially near the headwaters Leuchar Burn flows in a southerly course; as it approaches the Royal Deeside, the watercourse rotates to the southeast, ultimately forming a boundary between Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City. The stream then veers southerly once again before merging to the Culter Burn, which joins the River Dee at the village of Peterculter.

Coalford is a village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland situated slightly north of the River Dee. A statue of Rob Roy MacGregor is located near to Coalford. A number of noted historical structures lie in the vicinity of Coalford including Crathes Castle, Muchalls Castle, Maryculter House and the Lairhillock Inn. Considerable prehistory occurs in the local region along the Deeside, as evinced by the ancient sites of Balbridie and Bucharn.
