Hazlehead Park
Hazlehead Park is a large public park in the Hazlehead area of Aberdeen, Scotland. 180 hectares in size, it was opened to the public in 1920, having formerly been the estate of Hazlehead House, home of William Rose, shipbuilder. Johnston Gardens is a small public garden in Aberdeen, Scotland. The garden has won the Britain in Bloom competition many times (like the city itself which won the city in bloom category nine years straight before being banned to give another city a chance). Banchory-Devenick is a village approximately two kilometres south of the city of Aberdeen, Scotland in the Lower Deeside area of Aberdeenshire. The village of Banchory-Devenick lies slightly west of the A90 road, and the ancient Causey Mounth passes directly through the village.
Allan Park, Aberdeen (park)
Allan Park is a small, 6 hectare park situated on the south side of the suburban village of Cults. The Park was gifted by the local community to commemorate Queen Victoria's long reign. It contains a large overgrown bog which was formerly a skating rink. There is also equipment for small children to amuse themselves. They include a slide, swings and a jungle gym. Allan Park has also been home to Cults Cricket Club since 1893 and matches are often played there during the summer months.
