Kincorth is a suburb located to the south of Aberdeen, Scotland. The name is a corruption of the Scottish Gaelic "Ceann Coirthe", which probably refers to an old pillar or standing stone (coirthe). Kincorth is known as the garden estate of Aberdeen. It also has the Kincorth hill nature reserve known locally as the Gramps (Grampian mountains)The area is served by local high school Kincorth Academy.

HM Prison Aberdeen

HM Prison Aberdeen (formerly known as Craiginches) is a medium-security prison, located in the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. The prison is managed by the Scottish Prison Service. Known as one of the most overcrowded prisons in Scotland, it has a design capacity of 155 and is contracted to hold up to 230 prisoners. However, on the first day of an inspection in January 2009 it held 264 prisoners.

Tullos

Tullos is an area of Aberdeen, Scotland. The area takes its name from the Vale of Tullos which lies between Tullos Hill and Torry Hill. Tullos derived its name from a corruption of the Gaelic ‘Tulach’ meaning a hill. Original 106fm is an independent radio station broadcasting to Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. It was awarded its broadcast licence (the last new FM licence to be issued by Ofcom) in January 2007 and the station launched on October 28, 2007 at 1:06 pm. The first record played was "Revolution" by The Beatles. On September 12th 2009 the station was sold to a consortium led by Adam Findlay which included John Quinn and Murray Strachan.

St Mary's Church, Cove Bay

St Mary's (Cove Bay) is an Episcopal Church in Cove Bay, Aberdeen, Scotland. It is part of the Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney in the Scottish Episcopal Church. Since October 2003, the Episcopal congregation has been sharing the church building with another congregation from Cove Congregational Church. While the two congregations worship separately they do share many aspect of church life.
