Culmore
Culmore (from Irish: Cúil Mhór/an Chúil Mhór, meaning "the great corner") is a village and townland in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is between Derry and Muff, at the mouth of the River Foyle. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 2,960 people. Upper culmore is home to many of Derry's upper class population and culmore in general is one of the more expensive areas to live in the city.

Maydown (from Irish: Magh Dúin or Maigh Dhúin meaning "plain of the stronghold") is a small village and townland in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is near Derry and Strathfoyle and is within the Derry City Council area. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 270 people.
Ballyoan Cemetery
Ballyoan Cemetery is a cemetery in Derry, Northern Ireland. In the mid-1990s, numerous human remains were found at the Waterside Workhouse, Derry Workhouse. These remains, believed to be of people who died in the mid-nineteenth century, were later interred in this cemetery. Ballyoan Cemetery is located on a hillside off the old Rossdowney Road, Waterside, Londonderry. It looks out over the River Foyle and the City towards the Donegal Mountains.
Thornhill College
Thornhill College is a Roman Catholic girls' grammar school in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1886 and moved to Culmore in 1932. It moved into its new building in 2003. It has a student population of approximately 1500 and a staff of 100 teachers. Miss Hamilton replaced Mrs. Kelly in 2010 as the school principal. Catherine McAuley said: "Let us rejoice when good is done, no matter by whom it is accomplished".
Londonderry Port
Londonderry Port is a port at Lisahally in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. The United Kingdom’s most westerly port, it has capacity for 30,000-ton vessels and accepts cruise ships. The current port is on the east bank of the River Foyle at the southern end of Lough Foyle, by the small village of Strathfoyle, about 5 miles north-east of Derry. It is operated by the Londonderry Port and Harbour Commissioners, whose former offices, just north of the city's walls, are now a museum.
The Oaks Fishery
The Oaks Fishery is a 15-acre spring fed lake nestled in the countryside of County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is situated on the outskirts of Strathfoyle near the City of Derry Rugby Club and Enagh Lough. The fishery is reportedly a haven for huge pike and trout, after a 46 lb fish, dubbed 'Big Mary' was caught in 2007.
