Ward Park
Ward Park is situated in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. The 37 acre park contains 10 tennis courts, a duck pond and a selection of wildfowl housed in breeding pens. On the 1 September 2007, the Northern Irish band Snow Patrol performed a special gig at Ward Park to a crowd of 30,000 people, supported by Ash, We Are Scientists and various other smaller bands. In Summer 2010 Snow Patrol returned to Ward Park, Bangor with an estimated crowd of 40,000 people.
Bangor Grammar School
Bangor Grammar School (The Grammar or B.G.S. ), is an all-boys, voluntary grammar school situated in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. It was founded in 1856 by the Conservative politician and Bangor man, Col The Hon. Robert Ward PC MP(Eire) who lived at Castle Ward. The school, until June 2011, comprised two parts, Connor House, a preparatory school for pupils aged 4–11 and a secondary school for pupils aged 12–18. Connor House closed at the end of the 2010–11 academic year.

Towerview Primary School
Towerview Primary School is a primary school in Bangor, County Down. Towerview Primary opened in 1973 in the East of the town of Bangor. It is so called, as it is possible (on a clear day) to view helens tower from the area. The majority of pupils live in the Towerview area of Bangor but some come from further afield. There is a total of 14 classrooms to accommodate the children from Primary One to Primary Seven.
Upritchard Park
Upritchard Park is a cricket ground in Bangor, Northern Ireland. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1987, when the National Association of Young Cricketers North played the Netherlands Under-19s. In 2005, the ground hosted three List A matches in the 2005 ICC Trophy. The first of these was between Canada and Scotland, which resulted in a Scottish victory by 7 wickets.
