Battle of Fulford
The Battle of Fulford took place at the place identified by Symeon of Durham as the village of Fulford near York in England, on 20 September 1066, when King Harald III of Norway, also known as Harald Hardrada ("harðráði" in Old Norse, meaning "hard ruler"), and Tostig Godwinson, his English ally, fought and defeated the Northern Earls Edwin and Morcar. Tostig was Harold Godwinson's banished brother.

Goodricke College
Goodricke College is one of the colleges of the University of York. It was the fifth college to be built and was named after the astronomer John Goodricke. The College was opened in 1968 by Michael Swann and the event is commemorated by a plaque on the outside of the Old Dining Hall - now part of James College. Goodricke has approximately 1500 undergraduate members, of which some 500 live in college accommodation, and about 140 postgraduate members, of which most live in college accommodation.

Fishergate is one of the centre wards of York, England. It is situated directly south of the city walls, on the east bank of the River Ouse, north of Fulford. York Cemetery is a cemetery located in the city of York, England. Founded in 1837, it now encompasses 24 acres (97,000 m2) and is owned and administered by The York Cemetery Trust with support of the Friends of York Cemetery. It is situated on Cemetery Road in the Fishergate area of York. It has approximately 28,000 graves, over 17,000 monuments, 6 of which are Grade II listed. The chapel is a Grade II* listed building while the gatehouse, gate and railings are Grade II.
Fulfordgate
Fulfordgate was a football stadium used by York City F.C. from 1922 to 1932. The ground was located in the Fulford area of York, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom, next to Heslington Lane and was purchased by York for £2,000 following their formation in 1922. The club's first two home games were played at another venue as Fulfordgate was not ready, but the ground hosted its first match against Mansfield Town in September 1922.

The golf course was designed by Charles MacKenzie, brother of notable golf course architect Alister MacKenzie. Fulford was home to several PGA European Tour events including the Benson and Hedges International Open between 1971 and 1989.
