Battle of Fulford
The Battle of Fulford took place at the place identified by Symeon of Durham as the village of Fulford near York in England, on 20 September 1066, when King Harald III of Norway, also known as Harald Hardrada ("harðráði" in Old Norse, meaning "hard ruler"), and Tostig Godwinson, his English ally, fought and defeated the Northern Earls Edwin and Morcar. Tostig was Harold Godwinson's banished brother.
Derwent College
Derwent College is a college of the University of York, one of the first two colleges (along with Langwith) to be opened following the university's inception. It was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 22 October 1965. Derwent College is home to the University's Politics and Philosophy departments. The college itself is on the fringe of the campus, lying next to Heslington Hall, and close to the gazebo and gardens known collectively as The Quiet Place.

The hall is located on the campus of the University of York. The present Victorian building comprises a central nine bay two-storey block with attics and two two-storey wings at each end. It is built of brick in English bond with sandstone ashlar dressings.

Fulfordgate was a football stadium used by York City F.C. from 1922 to 1932. The ground was located in the Fulford area of York, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom, next to Heslington Lane and was purchased by York for £2,000 following their formation in 1922. The club's first two home games were played at another venue as Fulfordgate was not ready, but the ground hosted its first match against Mansfield Town in September 1922.

Fulford Golf Club
Fulford Golf Club is a private golf club located approximately 1 mile south of York, England. It was founded in 1906, moving to its current site, which had been approved by James Braid, in 1935. The golf course was designed by Charles MacKenzie, brother of notable golf course architect Alister MacKenzie. Fulford was home to several PGA European Tour events including the Benson and Hedges International Open between 1971 and 1989.
