River Blackwater (River Loddon)
The River Blackwater is a tributary of the River Loddon in England and, indirectly, of the River Thames. It rises at Rowhill on the outskirts of Aldershot between Aldershot in Hampshire and Farnham in Surrey and runs northwards to join the Loddon near the village of Swallowfield in Berkshire. Along part of its length, the river forms the boundary between Hampshire and Surrey, and then between Hampshire and Berkshire.
Hundred of Charlton
Charlton was a hundred in the English county of Berkshire. Like all hundreds, although never abolished, it effectively ceased to function after 1886. Charlton was one of the seven hundreds of Windsor Forest. It consists of the parishes of Barkham, Finchampstead, Hurst, Shinfield and Swallowfield. Before the early 13th century, it also included what became the parishes of Arborfield, Crowthorne, Earley, Ruscombe, Sandhurst, Sonning, Wokingham and Woodley.
River Whitewater
The River Whitewater rises at springs near Bidden Grange Farm between Upton Grey and Greywell. It flows northeast through Hampshire and is a tributary of the River Blackwater near Swallowfield. Its headwaters flow over chalk and there is little pollution making the River Whitewater rich in wildlife. It was noted on Janssen's map of Hampshire of 1646. The settlements of Greywell, North Warnborough and Hartley Wintney lie on the river Whitewater.

Wellington Country Park is a country park in Berkshire, around Riseley, near Reading. The Park consists of 350 acres of coniferous and deciduous woodlands with several nature trails and a lake. It was opened in 1974 by the Eighth Duke and Duchess of Wellington. The park has a campsite which has sole use of the children's play area facilities when the park itself closes.

L'Ortolan
L'Ortolan is a gourmet restaurant in the village of Shinfield, 6 km south of the centre of Reading, Berkshire, England. It is located in the village's old vicarage building. The restaurant has one star in the Michelin Guide and 3 AA rosettes Run by John Burton Race for 13 years, the restaurant was purchased by IT entrepreneur Peter Newman in 2000 who appointed Alan Murchison as head chef. Alan left in 2003 and Daniel Galmiche took over for a year.
Stratfield Saye Priory
Stratfield Saye Priory was an alien priory belonging to the Abbey of Vallemont, located at Beech Hill in the Berkshire part of the parish of Stratfield Saye. It was established in 1169 or 1170 and dissolved in 1399. The site is occupied by an 18th century house called 'The Priory'.
