Horton, Buckinghamshire
Horton is a hamlet in the parish of Ivinghoe, in Buckinghamshire, England. The name Horton is a common one in England, meaning "dirty or muddy farm". Although in the parish of Ivinghoe, the hamlet is nearer to Cheddington with its shops and churches, so that is the main village to which most residents of Horton feel most attached. The hamlet of Horton was held after the Norman Conquest by the de Brocas family.

Wraysbury Reservoir
The Wraysbury Reservoir is a water supply reservoir for London lying just west of the M25 near the village of Wraysbury and Heathrow airport. The reservoir was begun in 1967 and completed in 1970 with a capacity of 34,000 million litres. The reservoir is owned and operated by Thames Water and 400 million litres of water are pumped daily from an inlet at Datchet on the River Thames. A neighbouring reservoir is the King George VI Reservoir, opened in 1947, which is supplied from Hythe End.

The Queen Mother Reservoir lies between the M4 and the M25 to the west of London. It is 475 acres in size or about 1 km in diameter - making it one of the largest inland areas of water in Southern England. It is managed by Thames Water. This is one of a number of reservoirs to the west of London and was built in 1976. Its water is pumped from the River Thames nearby.
Ham Island
Ham Island is an island in the River Thames in England. It was created when the course of the river was diverted, via a cut, to avoid a weir and provide a navigable route through to Old Windsor Lock. Today land use is divided between 37 privately owned dwellings. The original houses on the island, now almost entirely rebuilt in a more luxurious style, were quite modest- many holiday homes. The island is also the site of a water treatment plant.
Sunnymeads
Sunnymeads is a village which has now been swallowed by neighbouring village Wraysbury. Although the two are now considered as one, there are many indications that show that Sunnymeads was once an independent hamlet. These include the Sunnymead Stores, once a post office and off-license (which closed in July 2000 after a series of raids) but now a tanning boutique, and Sunnymeads railway station, a little station which still serves the village today.
